The instructors are incredibly motivating and make every class feel like a personalized workout. What's great about these classes is that they are suitable for all skill levels, promoting a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. Highly recommend giving Studio Torch a try!

I've been going to StudioTorch through classpass and it is one of my preferred studios to get a killer workout in.
Honestly, it does seem very intimidating your first couple of times. Every time I walk in everyone just looks so "fit" and knows what they're doing. Don't be afraid to ask questions! The employees are so nice.
There are different stations such as treadmill, tower, TRX, weights, etc. It varies each time, but the instructors are good at explaining it.
They've been good about extra sanitization because you keep the same spray bottle and towel with you the whole time so you won't touch what everyone else is touching. You also hang your keys so you won't have to take it around with you.
It truly is a killer workout and I would recommend it. Get there 10 minutes early if you can incase you have any questions and you don't want to miss the demonstrations!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mallory D.Columbus, OH23632Feb 3, 2023
Best workout in Columbus. I've been going here for 4 years and I can't imagine joining any other gym. Awesome instructors, amazing workout, best music and motivators! I look forward to class every week!

If you're looking for a challenging workout, Studio Torch is your spot.
The studio is a good size and can accommodate a large class, they have equipment you probably do not have at home such as a ski urg and a rower. I love going to classes where I'm going to get a different workout in than my usual, and Studio Torch is that for me.
It's typically a HITT workout, but you can sign up for different types of classes on different days like arms, cardio, or glutes and legs! I like that you can chose- but each day there is definitely a cardio aspect.
The instructors are high energy and the atmosphere is intense, great for working out if that's what you like!! I always feel amazing after. There's also MANY times so you will definitely be able to accommodate any schedule.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kate G.Marina del Rey, CA170201Jun 30, 2022
I have been taking classes at Studio Torch for probably at least 2 years now on and off. About 6 months ago I finally became a regular committed member. I find that it is the perfect blend of challenging yet I don't feel like I'm so dead I can't come back the next day and I am able to stay consistent. As an ex crossfitter, Orange Theory member, (and at least a handful of other studios).. Studio Torch is just the perfect blend of it all. You will definitely find instructors here who care and inspire you to give it all you've got. Most of them play really great motivating music as well. I love it!

I can't say enough good things about studio torch. I've only gone to this gym during the pandemic, so I'm unsure what to compare it to but I will say they go through extensive cleaning measures during the pandemic.
We carry around individual spray bottles and towels from station to station and they do a full clean down in between each class. So every person is cleaning multiple times through class and they clean as a whole after and before.
The instructors are wonderful. I only go every Monday for arms and abs but I love that class and can't wait to continue to go! I also can't wait to try the other classes, when I'm brave enough! Also they have extremely accessible parking options with tons of spaces.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Apr 16, 2018
StudioTorch is a welcome addition to the Columbus fitness scene. Think of it almost as a combination of Orangetheory, Title and an awesome wait lifting class. The studio is still fairly new, but it is in a great location with plenty of parking. They have a ton of equipment, most of it from Rogue, which is awesome cause not only are they supporting another Columbus business, but it's also quality workout equipment.
Most of their classes consist of 5-6 rounds that last anywhere from 20 sec- 3 minutes and include a variety of exercises. Each day is a different workout, today was Abs and Arms and the also have Cardio and Core, Total Body and Burt and Leg days. Every workout I've done there has been different and I always leave sweating and shaking. I will say that the different stations and the time limit make it difficult to get yourself to the next station before the clock starts the next round which often results in missing a little bit of the round and working out for less time. Expect to spend about 45 min on the actual workout depending on the day. There's usually 5-10 minutes of warm up and exercise demonstration at the start of the class and it concludes with a cool down stretch.
All of the coaches are very enthusiastic and spend plenty of time helping and encouraging you through the class.
Towels are provided for your use during the class and there are drinking fountains.
The 5am week day class is rarely full, but the 6:15 is usually pretty crowded.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nat Y.Columbus, OH3084122Mar 6, 2019Updated review
If I had written this review after my initial experience, it would have looked a lot like the others they've received. But over time, I have fallen out of love with this place. It's probably more a "it's me, not you" situation as I realized the structure of the classes just don't keep me engaged me as other studios around town. You will definitely leave sweating, though, because the HIIT workouts keep you challenged!
The structure of the classes is a series of stations that you rotate among. There is a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowers, TRX straps, free weights and kettle bells. Depending on the day, there is a different focus and you know prior to getting there what you signed up for. The instructor takes the first 5-10 min of class demoing the moves.
What I started to not love about these workouts is you typically have 15 seconds to rotate, so it's rare for me to get the entire time for the exercises - which could be as little as 45 at a station. Additionally, the short rotation window leaves no time to wipe down equipment. The lobby of the studio is clean, but I wouldn't say the workout area is clean, unless you go to the first class of the day. And even then, it gets gross as the class progresses. I guess I just don't find it fun to get to a station to find a sweaty mat there waiting for me. I do appreciate that they offer free towel usage to everyone, though.
If you are looking to shake up your workout routine, I would recommend doing the free trial or booking a class through ClassPass. You'll definitely get in a good sweat and burn some calories.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 20, 2018Previous reviewIf I had written this review after my initial experience, it would have looked a lot like the others they've received. StudioTorch has a challenging format! I have tried out several different facilities. This one has me hustling and burning calories like no other. I enjoy the variety of stations offered per class, the mix of cardio and strength training as well as that no two classes are ever the same!

Columbus is a great city for fitness -- there are studios and new spots popping up consistently so it makes it hard to stand out from the crowd, or worse, keep a clientele. However, StudioTorch is a place that once you try, you don't want to quit. The no-two-days are the same workouts, the HIIT format and mix of cardio and weights pack a powerful punch for those looking to really sweat.
Additionally, the trainers are motivating without being too "in your face." They understand proper form and are eager to see you meet your goals. The studio is kept clean and parking is never an issue! The app makes it super simple to schedule classes and often, they run great package sales that (also) keep you coming back.
