Briana Kelly is fantastic! As a man, I always have a little bit of fear going into get my eyebrows done. I was to keep them full, but also have a slight arch. Not too feminine, but also want a little bit of style to them.

Briana did just that. She looked at my example photos and gave me exactly what I needed. There was zero redness!

She is also a super sweet person and it was a joy meeting her.

As for Stript Wax Bar, I LOVED that they have a menu for men. I have never seen it before. I will be back.

Okay.... first and foremost I have ALWAYS had a hate-hate relationship with Hard Wax. Terrible experience with European Wax Center... never went back.. blah blah.

5 years later, I was convinced by Rachel (the manager) to give this spot a try. She swore she would give me someone who knew what they were doing.

Jeanette is wonderful. She made my experience super pleasant and as "non-painful" as possible. She talked to me and kept my mind occupied and really changed the way I felt about the hard wax experience. And she's fast! Not intentionally.... just professionally. She knows what's she's doing!

The inside is quaint, clean, private and simple.
Pricing is moderate. First time users can buy a discount right here on yelp.

I called in about a last minute appointment today and they were able to squeeze me in. Everything about the process was super easy and calm.

Pros:
-Quiet
-Quick
-Good amount of street parking
-Friendly staff
-Large waxing room

Cons:
-Hard to find via maps app
-The way is pretty harsh and did not react well with my skin
-The wax left this stringy substance all over my face and clothes

I love the way my brows look and the staff was really nice, but because of the way my skin reacted to the wax I most likely won't be returning.

Lashes are my obsession! I have really straight lashes, and have always struggled with achieving my ideal lash look. Well, that was until I met Shiori!

I've been going to Shiori for my lashes for a few years now, and I will never leave her! Her patience and perfectionist persona is what achieves perfect lashes every time! I couldn't praise her enough.

So happy she's at Stript Wax Bar now, because she's closer to me!

Such a great place for my first time!! When i first walked in, my friend and I were offered champagne to help is relax. My esthetician, Issa, was really sweet and made the experience easy and as pleasant as it could get :) the place is decorated beautifully too! I would definitely come back here

Wonderful place to get waxed! Rachel & Molly always make me feel super comfortable. Going in for a more intimate waxing procedure like a Brazilian can be a bit intimidating but Molly is very personable so you can chat and fly right through it.. not to mention that she is very skilled at her job and leaves wonderful results. I get all my waxing services done here, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Always nice to have a friendly, trusting specialist when it comes to waxing or spray tanning!

Ananda did my spray tan, she made me feel 100% comfortable.
They use a great product which DOES NOT give you an orange look.

I have very sensitive skin & a low pain threshold. I'm also particular about hygiene practices. Stript Wax Bar is the only place I will go for wax services -Bakini, Brazilian, Brow, Upper Lip, etc. The facilities are clean, contemporary, comfortable & hip. Nice lounge & magazines, plus wine & cookies to indulge in before, or after a service - like a spa!

The aestheticians are all terrific -- Ananda is now my "Go-To" girl. She's meticulous & gives me lots of TLC (& numbing spray) since she knows I'm a baby! The staff is friendly, scheduling is convenient & they call to confirm. And - they have private parking, which in Mid-City is a DREAM! What else could you ask for?

No minuses to report. 5 stars all the way!

I went to Stript on Robertson for my first time today and was so impressed and happy I found this place. I work a block away, and have been meaning to make an appointment for a while and finally did. It was so easy and a clean environment which I like.
The best part about the experience was the lovely Brooke. She was meticulous. She was professional and sweet and I will 100% be back to see her. Not only that but I will recommend her to all my friends, family and colleagues. Brooke made the service painless and a breeze. At one point I said "I'd rather spend more time here, than go back to work!"

Thanks Brooke and the Stript team for a new, great local spot :)
