Espen Giljane is a living treasure, and the accompanist was a pleasure to dance with. I drive 3 hours to get to class precisely, and only, because of the quality of the ballet classes at Steps
The substitute teacher was fantastic and very friendly. She is clearly skilled in tap dancing, teaching and generally being a nice person. She also did well with making sure the thoughts and needs of both the in person students and the online students were addressed. The zoom call itself had some minor technical glitches, but nothing that ruined the experience. In fact, most of the issues I experienced are likely due to normal limitations of zoom as it is made for meetings, and not high latency, high precision situations like a dance class.
