  • I love Steps! All of the dance instructors are amazing. I have only two bit of feedback. I wish there were more beginning level ballet classes offered during the weekends or evenings. My second feedback is about a class I tried for the first time a few Saturdays ago, it was Rommett Floor bar on Saturday morning i think the instructor was wesley, I had a terrible experience in this class the instructor was rude and completely out of line. She was sarcastic and complained about how bad we were and how we weren’t getting it. During every exercise she would stop make us sit up and watch her demonstration at least 3-4 times per exercise. At the end of the class my body was so sore from laying down and sitting up dozens of times. I understand a desire for good form but this was very discouraging and painful. The worst part though was that she singled out one woman in the class and asked if she was a “foreigner” because she heard something “weird” when the woman spoke. Then she told us how she was glad none of us were foreigners because they couldn’t understand her. To me this is contrary to everything Steps is all about: inclusivity, growth mindset, and encouragement to be better while having fun. I think someone should audit this class and listen to how the instructor is talking to the students. It wasn’t a few isolated incidents, it was the entirety of the class. I thought about walking out many times but tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but then deeply regretted staying. As I said I think this instructor is contrary to everything Steps is about and should be audited and replaced.
  • Loved the class! Loved the teacher (Kat Ponza!) and loved the overall experience. Can’t wait to go back
  • I loved everything about my first class. My only negative feedback is that I couldn't hear the music. I could hear it fairly well during the warm up, but I couldn't hear it at all during the routine. Which made it very frustrating. Is there a way to stream the stereo sound through the camera sound? The sound it picked up from the mic was perfect.
  • Espen Giljane is a wonderful teacher. Thoroughly enjoy his classes.
