I don't usually leave Yelp reviews, but yesterday I walked out feeling like myself again after seeing Nina! She did a full balayage and my hair doesn't feel dry or brittle whatsoever. She was so careful and took extra steps to get me blonde as safely as possible (I have very dark hair). She's amazing! Definitely recommend!

I don't have the words to express how I feel. Absolutely love this place and my stylist! I want to rave about Missy. Missy listened to exactly what I wanted and she made my vision become reality! I now have my confidence back and I'm grateful I found her!! She truly is a blonde specialist! I will be back!!!

For years I ruined my hair with a lot of box color, and all types of hair products that I didn't know weren't suited for my hair. But then I met Nina and I was hooked! I communicated to her that I wanted something more classy and I guess in a way more grown up. And because I was always changing it to many different vibrant colors my hair was fried! Nina was patient with me and worked with my hair for quite some time now to get it to a healthy beautiful glow! I've never been happier and comfortable letting someone else work on my hair that wasn't me. I really value her work and the time she puts in to accomplish what I ask for. I always leave the salon with a big smile on my face. And how Lizzo says "100% THAT B****" if you are looking for someone who has patience and only wants the best for your hair go to Nina

WOW, just wow. I haven't done much to my hair over the years but decided it was time to finally give it a little life: every place I've gone to has done a pretty bad job, so I was nervous getting it done after 6 years. Emily did my hair and I was blown away. The Balyage looks so natural, the colors are PERFECT and I could not be happier.

She seriously killed it and I've never loved my hair more!! Highly recommend going to Emily to get your hair done!

I came here on my wedding day with my mother to get fancy styles for my special day. I was so excited. Until my stylist literally insulted my hair, talked down to me and didn't do what I asked for at ALL. She was so incredibly rude to me and ruined my hair and my day entirely. She acted as if I was inconveniencing her. We paid good money to go to a nice salon and got treated like dog crap on the street. I was appalled. The next day my hair was falling out from how hard she pulled it and the products she used. They will never get our business again. I'm sorry I don't remember her name..if I find out I'll post it so you guys never book with her!

Just went to Gail for the first time for a haircut and she was amazing! Even though I was fifteen minutes late, (I apologize, allow time for parking) she not only listened, but took the time to analyze my hair and make suggestions. Thanks for being so professional and accommodating! Love the new Sproos space!

Just got done with another cut and blow out from Gale. Never had such an amazing experience like this at a salon before. And it's all because of her. She is always so friendly and kind. Great listener and always does exactly what I request of her (I can be quite picky and vague with my requests). She is also very professional while also providing great banter. Her consultations are always helpful and thorough and she takes the time to give good styling tips so that my hair looks great at home. Been booking her for the last few years and can't trust anyone else with my hair now! I highly recommend booking with Gale.

Sproos and the owner have been nothing but professional, knowledgeable and helpful to me over the years with purchasing hair products and helpful tips for my color treated hair.
The owner Kim worked at this salon long before taking over ownership. She loves her family and community and it saddens me to hear people bad mouthing this small family owned business because of one bad employee who was fired immediately after Kim heard news of said employees poor judgement, racism and hateful comments on social media.
Sproos should not suffer for someone else's actions, especially when they have done everything in their power to show solidarity during these emotional and devastating times.
I will continue to support Sproos as a customer, friend, community member and human being.

I had a haircut & color with Janice after almost 2 years without a trim or seeing a stylist. She did such a great job and I felt completely relaxed in her chair. She was warm and talkative and helped me chose a cut and color that she thought would work best for my fine hair/styling routine. Thank you for the hair-transformation, Janice! Looking forward to seeing her again for my next trim/color session.

Gail is such a gem. She is such a talented stylist that my entire family sees her. I don't want her to become so booked so that I can't schedule with her, but I have to write this review because she is the best. I lived in SF for 15 years and Marin for 15 years and never found a Marin stylist that nailed my cuts like Gail does.
