Spirit Well Sensory Lounge

I was drawn to the Spirit Well Sensory Lounge by a thirst-- my experience left me never wanting to leave. From the moment I entered The Spirit Well and Lounge, there was a calming of the mind and body.

My visit was for a session in the VibroAcoustic Chair and Red Light Therapy. Shortly after donning the sensory eye shades and noise canceling headphones, I was transported by the orchestration of ambient sounds and carried along by the textural waves resonating throughout me. If you have ever tried the effects of a Tibetan Singing Bowl, this is what is feels like to become the bowl itself.

Co-Owner/Operator, Stephanie, has a welcoming and caring aura about her, as if I have known her forever.

Spirit Well Sensory lounge has the most amazing classes and events. The Restorative Yoga on Mondays at 6:00 has become part of my weekly routine and is such a great way to start the week.

Since it is restorative yoga, it is different than what you might picture when you think of a typical yoga class. The poses are held for longer periods of time and there is a focus on releasing that which no longer serves you along with healing through quick guided meditations. It isn't unusual to release something you weren't even aware you were carrying around with you.

Amy starts the class by checking in with everyone to see if there is anything going on that they would like to address in class that day. She takes care to differentiate poses so that everyone can benefit and feel comfortable.

Spirit Well Sensory Lounge has such an amazing, positive vibe the minute you walk into the lounge. The health tonics are so delicious and fresh. My session on the Vibroacoustic Bed allowed me to get into such a deep relaxation that I have never experienced before just by listening to meditation sounds.
