This was my first time back since covid started and Kris was new to me. I came in carrying two years worth of tension, especially in my upper back. He did this thing where he'd work into a spot and direct my breaths, and as I breathed out I could concentrate on the point he was working on and actually FEEL the muscle releasing. It was remarkable. I slept better that night than I can remember sleeping in years, and woke up not hurting at all, which felt downright foreign. I was anxious about coming in - I'm still not entirely comfortable about doing "normal" stuff in the age of Covid, but I've scheduled my next two massages with him already.
