Honestly I wasn't expecting much seeing that this is a day spa in the middle of Lincoln Park, which is a super expensive place to run a business. That, and Spavia's prices were incredibly reasonable leading me to think, "this will probably be an OK experience - nothing great, nothing terrible." Well, I was pleasantly proven wrong when my wife and I walked in for our Valentine's Day couples' massage. Despite being told there was high traffic, we never felt crowded - in fact, at times we felt like we were the only two people in the entire facility (which wasn't true, but you get the point). We were blown away by the facilities, the amenities in the retreat rooms, the lovely showers and changing area, and the massage itself - well I'm not sure how to spell "Italian-like hand gesture brought to mouth and then kissed to communicate complete satisfaction" but just take my word for it that it was an absolute treat conducted by true professional-grade masseuses. Thank you for making our Valentine's Day one for the books!
