• It was only now, after checking with a few friends, that I realize the going price for a 60 minute basic massage at 1:39 is competitive. I had thought expensive but now have been informed that it is not. If I might go on and make a suggestion, I advise that the Front Desk staff know this information: that 139 is pretty standard in this area. When I asked about cost, they seemed a bit embarrassed and not fully knowledgeable about how to address that question. I think they should be prepared to say that for quality massage parlors 139 is the going rate. I might even further suggest that they be prepared to cite a few examples of nearby salons, and their rate, for a basic 60 minute massage. It will avoid the customer becoming embarrassed or feeling cheap (as I confess I felt because I did not know) that they even asked. It should be no secret nor a source of embarrassment to the salon, front office staff or to the customer. Just offering that suggestion for your consideration.
