• I'll reply with the Yelp review I posted yesterday: Seriously, this place is absolutely amazing. It was my first time visiting today, and I got the relax package (massage, facial, and pedicure). I decided to treat myself on my birthday, but I was absolutely reluctant to go. 30 minutes prior to my appointment, I found out my husband lost his job. I was A. WRECK. My mind was reeling, I knew I had to balance our budget, figure 1000 other things out and cancel my birthday plans (which paled in comparison, obviously). The last thing I wanted was to go out in public like the wreck I was. Anyway, enough about me-- let me tell you about the compassion and professionalism of Spa Retreat. So I walk in (trying my hardest to compose myself), but it was obvious something was up. I quickly explained that it was my birthday and I just found out my husband was laid off so I apologized for my appearance. They were so sweet and asked if I'd like to cancel, but they said I probably need this treatment now more than ever. I agreed and we began. Everyone was super sweet and supportive. What really struck my the most was the compassion of the esthetician, Olivia. After my facial, she whispered, "sending good vibes to you and your family... This too shall pass." Which caused my to cry even more. Olivia's compassion to a total stranger was overwhelming and so very appreciated. It was that little gesture that totally made my experience extraordinary and has made me a customer for life.
