What to expect: Your therapist will meet with you to discuss goals and areas of concentration followed by a hands-on session which may include compression, ROM (range of motion) and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) techniques. Reiki is a form of spiritual healing using “universal life energy” channeled through the practitioner to the recipient. Reiki helps to harmonize body, mind and spirit for yourself or anyone you want to help.

Reiki treatment
A reiki treatment consists of you laying on a comfortable table in a relaxing room, fully clothed and can last an hour or longer depending on the treatment required. You relax while the practitioner holds their hands above or sometime’s on your body. There is no pressure on the body making it ideal for treating all ages and conditions. The energy flows wherever it is required (spiritually or intuitively guided) and can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body. Receiving Reiki is a very relaxing and soothing experience!

Reiki is an effective healing method
Reiki can be used for many ailments like reducing stress, relieving pain, headaches, stomach upsets, back problems, asthma – respiratory problems, PMS, sinus, anxiety and many more. Please observe that Reiki should never be used instead of medical treatment, it should be used as a compliment and a way to become and remain healthy. This modality is performed on the floor wearing loose fitting clothes to allow for ease of movement. It is very gentle however it is not recommended for clients with severely impaired mobility or at risk of hypotension.

Dominic received his Thai massage training at Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He graduated from their 180 hour program in 2016.
