Wanted to refresh my hair style and did some research in Yelp. So I landed here, called and made an appointment for that weekend. Yay! They had availability

I was welcomed by Michelle, the owner. Very friendly and warm team. Lovely entrance and decor throughout. Really enjoyed the vibe!

They have an awesome skin and haircare line of products with ingredients grown here in Texas. Lovely scent combos, and variety of products. They have a spa and do massages and facials too!

The salon uses products by Bumble, they smell amazzzinggg. I tend to fall asleep, and well the shampoo scents had me dozing off lol

Got a classic cut that goes well with my curly hair too. I straighten my hair sometimes so that was the best option for my hair cut style.

Very happy with the service at SL, the team is very good at working together and helping each other. Happy with my cut and will want to try their spa services too!

I used to be a regular here but after my last few visits I will never go here again. A few months ago the stylist that I normally see botched my highlights. I had orange streaks in the front. I went back for her to fix, but instead of reprocessing the orange pieces, I left with even more orange streaks. To add insult to injury, I was charged for the materials (she waived her own service fees but still I shouldn't have had to pay for anything). I ended up dying over my highlights and having to chop a lot of my hair off because it was so brassy and ugly. I have spent a LOT of time and money getting highlights so needless to say I am very upset that my hair is ruined.

So I decided not to get my hair done here anymore, but during Christmas the salon was offering an extra $20 if you bought a $100 giftcard. I had bought a $200 giftcard, and got an extra $40 on it. I've been wanting to use the giftcard to get rid of it so I booked a facial and blowout package special for $220. After my services were finished, I went to pay with the giftcard but was told that giftcards weren't valid for "package" deals. I asked to speak to the owner, Michelle, who had a very snotty attitude and told me that when I purchased my giftcard, I got "free money" from the salon and so using it on a package deal is a "double discount." I have never in my life heard of a giftcard that can only be used selectively like this. Giftcards are normally treated like cash. She also said that when you book online, the giftcard restriction is on the website (I checked and no, it doesn't). She gave me 2 options: either save my giftcard and pay for the package with cash or card, or she would charge me separately for each service (meaning no package deal discount). I did not want to save my giftcard as I knew I never wanted to go back to that salon so I ended up using my whole giftcard plus paying an additional $25 because she charged me full price for each service. I was incredibly insulted and angry that I got scammed and had to pay extra money just because she doesn't understand how giftcards work. Totally deceptive business practice. I will NEVER go back here.

I got the best hour facial for $75! The ladies are very kind and they explain everything with so much patience and details!

I absolutely adore Tawny! She always makes my hair look exactly like my reference pictures and I get so many compliments from my friends! I will always request her for my haircuts she is amazing!

My stylist, Tamara, prepared in advance of my arrival by reading my salon requests and personal hair challenges provided in my appointment questionnaire. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by members of the salon Team and was offered a beverage and salon services brochure to review services and respective pricing. My pre-style, discussion with Tamara was thorough and our conversation was relaxed throughout my cut and style. Her suggestions to improve my cut based on my frizzy/curly hair quality and existing "dated" style were flawless. I left my appointment feeling 15 years younger. I couldn't score Tamara any higher, as everything she did was perfect (and I'm a critical consumer). As an aside, the salon product line offerings provide for funds that give back to LOCAL animal rescue/support services which is a true incentive to bring clientele back, if they weren't already bowled over by the beautiful facility, centralized location, superiorly trained staff, progressive brand approach and broad service offerings. Pricing is fair and services provided are well beyond the standard salon menus. It's all about quality NOT quantity or gimmicky. I couldn't make a recommendation for any improvements. If you are trying to find a great salon and spa, you need to go to Smooth Lines and Salon! The master stylist that I have been seeing is Tamara, and she is wonderful. She is so patient and listens to you wants/needs for your hair/style/cut. Don't worry if your hair is short or long, she can cut/style both!

I also had a body massage for the first time in the spa, and oh my goodness, it was incredible! Gabby is so amazing! I only had the 30 minute massage, but Gabby worked from the top of my head to my toes with such ease but at the same time with deliberate touch points. . I will definitely be getting my massages at the spa with Gabby, but I'll definitely be doing the hour/longer massages.

I highly recommend Smooth Lines Salon! You will love the atmosphere, the professionalism, and the wonderful products!

I scheduled with Madison after seeing a beautiful long layered cut on her social media. She did a great job with my long long hair! She was detailed, meticulous, gentle. She's a sweet young hairstylist. I will definitely go back to her.
