• I was gifted a gift card, from my boss, for my birthday. I made the appointment on line, easy enough. My boss didn't specify the value of the gift card, so upon my arrival, I asked her to check. She said 2 Swedish Massages. ???? But that she can change it to a Custom Facial. Since I have no idea how much a Swedish Massage or Custom Facial cost- I'm a bit perplexed. I'm also confused, that a gift card is sold with a specific service on it, not a dollar amount. I've never experienced this before. I know my boss wouldn't presume I'd even want a Swedish Massage, or 2 for that matter- but would want $X available to me, to select any service I chose, or put $X toward any service I chose. And here is where is gets awesome: I booked a Blemish Blaster facial for $100. She changes the service to a 'custom facial,' now making the 'Blemish Blaster' a $50 add on. Ahhhh, no. I'll return to spend the remaining balance on the card. And likely won't return. Oh, my esthetician was fantastic.
