Serenity Spa

i decided to book an appointment with this group on their website. they make you put in your credit card number and are very quick to inform you that if you cancel within 24 hours you will still be charged. I confirmed my appointment through their text and cleared my schedule for that day only to have them call me on the morning of my massage and cancel. I was told the person doing my massage was injured and couldn't come in and they had no one to replace them. I get things happen but the attitude of the person calling me was so rude, sort of a sorry, not sorry situation. I would have been more receptive to rebooking had the person on the other line not been so matter of fact like I have nothing better to do than wait on a hook breathlessly awaiting for my time with them. It was very unprofessional and gave me the impression they have so much business they don't need mine, so be it.

I'm sure they will have a large rebuttal but I believe first impressions are everything, my first impression of this organization is very poor.

I love this cute place. Set up is an older residential house so not your typical spa ambiance. It didn't bother me having to walk an extensive flight of stairs to get to the treatment room. The room was huge but still cozy and set up someone's bedroom minus the bed. Of course there's a traditional massage table that has a warming blanket. I was in heaven from the start. The therapist used lots of massage oil and had plenty of pressure for my liking. They offer lots of unique services you can't find anywhere else so check them out. Friendly staff and easy to book with a virtual assistant option.

Oh my - what an amazing massage I had yesterday! Tami was able to work on my very painful right shoulder and has relieved so much of the pain. Her knowledge of anatomy is remarkable and she has years of experience. She used the spa's Ortho Jelly which felt so great with no obnoxious odor. I bought a tub to use at home! Can't wait to go back.

I had the pleasure of having a massage and a facial with the most pleasant and professional staff. The environment is very relaxing and I had the opportunity to try new products. I look forward to my next visit.

I booked a package as a surprise to my future step daughter in-law. She was marrying my step son in a month and just completed her schooling to get her nurse practitioners license so I knew she really needed this. We had an awesome experience: facials, body scrubs, massages, and a nice break in the sauna along with a cute lunch with champagne. This also gave us some time to spend together which was nice! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The place was very clean and had a relaxing aura.
This was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday and I know I will be returning in the future as I'm also sure my daughter in law will return too. I know what I'm asking my husband for this year for my birthday!

What a special treat, located in a refurbished home on Main St in historic Middletown. Hubby and I had a couple's massage and we were both very pleased. The entire experience was quiet, pampering and luxurious from beginning to end. When we arrived we were taken to a room to change into robes and slippers and given a locker for our clothing and personal items. Then we had relaxed with herb infused water while we filled out paperwork to describe our expectations for the massage. The massage was superb! The room was quiet, dark and relaxing and the masseuse exceeded my expectations, having read my paper about areas of special concern and my wishes. I highly recommend you try their services!

I received an anti aging facial from Poonam. She is extremely knowledgeable about skin and skincare. I felt completely at easy with her expertise. The facial was both relaxing and informative. She treated my problem areas and gave me a variety of suggestions on how to eliminate and handle future break outs due to hormonal changes. Friendly and professional environment. Just love this place and the staff. Best spa I've ever been too!

Serenity spa is as good as if not better than before the pandemic! I recently visited a competitor spa that used to be very good, but now is very disappointing in its attention to service. The massage I had from Morgan at Serenity was exceptional and the professionalism of the staff was top-notch. Thank you.

Wow, this place is a GEM! I have a few days off between quitting my last job and starting a new one, and I wanted to take some time to pamper myself. It's challenging to find a spa/salon that's open on Mondays but Serenity fit the requirement for me. I booked the Serenity Spa package for $230 (includes a body wrap, a massage, and a facial). I was advised I should anticipate being there from 1-4pm and received a confirmation email after booking.

Upon arrival, I was taken to the bathroom where I changed into a robe and slippers and locked my stuff away in a locker. I next went to the "relaxation room" to complete some paperwork while I enjoyed hot peppermint tea. Both women at reception were so friendly!

Lisa came to get me and led me upstairs to the treatment room where I had my first body wrap (green algae wrap). I liked the dry skin brushing that started the wrap and it was nice to be wrapped up like a burrito, but I don't know if I'd get another wrap in the future as I find massages and facials more relaxing. Once the wrap was done and I was gently rinsed off, I had the massage! She did a great job and was able to get one of two knots out of my shoulder.

Finally, it was time for my facial in a different treatment room downstairs. Brittany explained what she was doing each step of the way and I could feel my skin getting cleaner the whole time! She definitely made me realize that I need to book facials more frequently as she noted my skin was dehydrated. While masks were setting, I also got a nice hand massage and rested my hands in some warm gloves.

This spa package was exactly what I was looking for and I'm looking forward to booking my next session! My face looks so much softer and brighter already!

Love love love! went today for a couples massage and we will be back! from the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warming smile, and everyone is very kind. Very professional, clean, and they totally exceeded our expectations.
