Saving Face Skinspa

If you have acne, you need to go here. I used to suffer from horrible, painful cystic acne and Saving Face was the only place that helped me to cure it and my skin is now acne free and glowing! I used to slab my face with make up to cover the acne and I no longer wear make-up. I thought I would stop going after my acne went away, but I've been hooked since and have made it part of my monthly routine to visit Saving Face to get my facials =]. I definitely see and feel a difference by going in monthly. I also got my primary doc to prescribe these services so my HSA can pay for it.

My story: in 2015 after having my baby, my hormones went crazy and I got really bad acne. I went to three different dermatologists in the Olympia area and none of their treatments worked, one even burned my face! The last one I saw suggested the acutane treatment. I decided not to do acutane because it sounded super scary, the booklet alone was scary enough to read! I felt like their guinea pig... and I felt hopeless and a depressed. My heart seriously goes out to teenagers who are dealing with this, acne really sucks.

One random day one of my friends sent me Saving Face Skinspa's info and to be honest, it took me a while to actually call and make an appointment after the bad experiences I had with the dermatologists. I finally went in and met with Wendy, she gave me the acne program info and I started the treatment and day by day my skin got significantly better and it finally cleared up a COUPLE of months later. I seriously couldn't believe it. It was crazy to see the transformation because I seriously tried everything, and saw multiple doctors for that two year span after I had my kid.

For anyone contemplating going-- you will not be disappointed! I don't have acne any more but I seriously love this place so much I allotted enough money to my HSA to cover monthly facials for the year. If you have an FSA or HSA account, you should talk to your doctor about prescribing you these much needed services that insurance carriers do not pay for.

Saving Face Skinspa truly changed my skin for the better and I am so grateful for her services. I came into Wendy's office extremely frustrated and disheartened with red, inflamed skin. I wasn't expecting much, especially since my dermatologist had told me that I was "already receiving the best skin care treatments" at her office. Wendy definitely proved her wrong.

Right from the start, Wendy truly listened to my struggles with acne and she was very caring and empathic toward my situation since she has had her own skin battles in the past. She educated me on how to treat my acne problem with simple lifestyle and dietary changes. She also offered me personalized skin products that, although not cheap, are definitely affordable and less expensive than anything else I had received from dermatologists prescriptions. Within just a couple months, my skin was better than it had been since elementary school and it has only improved in the past two years with her products. Now, I barely break out and my skin has never been healthier.

However, I cannot give this business 5 stars despite my incredible skin transformation. A little over a year ago, Wendy decided to hand off her older patients to a new esthetician so that she could accept more new clients. While her other estheticians are also highly trained and professional, I do not receive the same education and expertise as I did from Wendy. I would still recommend this place to anyone with stubborn acne troubles, but just be warned--if you make the decision to come here, you will be handed off as soon as your initial treatments are done and you no longer will be allowed to schedule an appointment with Wendy.

Wendy is the real deal. I spent, literally, hundreds of dollars on products, doctors, and dermatologists for my teen daughters cystic acne. I took time off work and waited months for an appointments. We traveled to Tacoma and Seattle.

My daughter never felt heard, products were expensive and worked for a short time or didn't work at all. Co-pays were expensive as well.

My daughter heard about Wendy from a friend. We looked into her website and heard so many testimonials, it was unbelievable. We couldn't believe we were sitting on such a hidden gem right here in our own hometown!

My daughters face looks better than it ever has before. Wendy sat down and really listened to her. She has her own line of products that work. She is reasonably priced and you don't need insurance to see her.

Wendy has such a huge heart for helping people with acne that she has made her services affordable for everyone. There is no reason to lack confidence or deal with painful acne anymore!

She is booked a lot because she is that good but you can get in to see her within a few weeks! She also does a mail order service and consultation via email if you don't live in Olympia or near by.

I can't begin to tell you how amazing she is. She keeps in touch with your kiddo and even in maintenance will check in or answer questions if anything comes up.

My daughter now has a great routine and clear skin with minimal effort.

Ok, and now on to me - a mama with aging skin. She has given me the best products - no more crap products bought online, costco, Ulta, blah blah blah. She has the best and they work and they are more reasonable than other products that promise to work but don't.

I have had a fibroblast done that helped with droopy eyelids and a facial (which was wonderful and relaxing and left my skin feeling refreshed and bright). I plan on having some dark age spots removed soon.

Go to Wendy and never look back. She is the best at what she does. She keeps her appointments, she is easy to book by calling or online. She doesn't keep you waiting. She is the epitome of professional and friendly.

Wendy is amazing!! I got my acne treatment a month ago, and my face started to clear the first week after treatment. Her products are vegan, and skin feels clean and fresh after using. Wendy has years of knowledge, and she knows what she's doing. She will analyze your acne, and give you feedback on nutrition and products that she doesn't recommend.

Wendy is not just an Master Esthetician, she is passionate educator. She possesses extensive knowledge from years of research on acne causing ingredients. The products on the market didn't perfectly agree with her research so she took the initiative to create her own! Wow. I've seen 6 other estheticians/dermatologists and none have addressed my needs the way she has. I was impressed with her acknowledgment that hispanic skin needs to be addressed differently and she approached my skin with that consideration. I loved the results after my facial and extraction and I will go back.
