I have been going to this "spa" at the Cherry Creek Athletic Club for several months now and have had the following treatments: massage, Jan Marini facial, bikini wax, manicure and pedicure. All of them have been done multiple times and with varied providers. Here is my take...

Facials--The Jan Marini is considered the top of the line by the girls there. Though they offer Eminence and Sanitas it is what they all use and recommend. It is a very relaxing facial and can be combined with other treatments such as microderm. I have very sensitive skin then is prone to breakouts and like that they have the blue light thingy (technical jargon) that kills bacteria and prevents post facial breakouts. Melanie is my favorite provider for this service as well as bikini waxing.

Waxing: I have had bikini waxes by two individuals who used two different techniques. The first was Melanie, who uses the blue wax that hardens and gets peeled off without the use of cloth. The second time I had it done was the old school way with wax and cloth. I, personally, had a better result with the blue wax, but know that you have options in this department.

Mani/pedi: I usually go for the regular ones, not the spa version with parrafin (sp?) because I don't really see a difference in the end result and often am short on time. I'm going to butcher her name, but I like Jusesita for these treatments. Their polish selection is so-so, bring in your own if you want to ensure freshness.

Massage: My favorite treatment. I have gone to serveral girls here and like Valeria and Nicole best--in no particular order. Sometimes how I book just depends on which one of them is available when I have time. They are both great.

Lastly, I should say that there is not much of a spa-like atmosphere here. They will offer you a robe and the waiting area has magazines, water and teas. It is very basic. You will be using the gym locker room if you want to sit in the hot tub or steam room. While everything is clean, it's not a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the locker room. For me, it is a convenient way to get treatments and exercise in with one stop.

Myself and other family members have been going to this spa for a few years now for various treatments. I've had eyebrow waxing and manicures. My husband and mother-in-law have gone in for facials and massages.
As far as the eyebrow waxing experience, it's the best I've had. Always come out even and look very nice. My shellac manicure was average. Had some bubbles on a couple nails, but otherwise looked nice. From what I've heard the facials are wonderful!
I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I'm a new member of the club and we received complimentary spa packages as part of signing up. I used my gift card to get a shellac manicure and was pleasantly surprised. The nail area is very private, relaxing and comfortable. Ly was very helpful when picking out nail colors and I enjoyed chatting with her. She did a great job with my nails and so far, I haven't had any chipping or peeling.

The lemon water was a plus as well!

I spent a "self care" day here to recoup after a big work event and I'm so happy I did. I requested three services last minute and made it clear I was okay with some time in between due to the short notice. They moved things around to ensure my services were back to back. The massage, facial and pedicure were 5 star and the professionalism of the staff was even better. Treat yourself and visit the spa ASAP!

I had a massage by Molly. She was gracious, professional and did a great job. She was strong but knew when to be more gentle. I was very tight going in, and felt significantly better afterwards. That's not been the case with other massages for me in the past. I would recommend her!

James is an amazing massage therapist. His talent with muscle therapy and energy work left me feeling 100% after my massage. I even upgraded to an 80 minute during my session.
