Salon Privado

A lovely little salon overlooking the water at Westport! Can't beat the location! I've been going to Michelle for eyelash extensions (she and her mom own the salon) and she does a wonderful job! My first experience w/lash extensions and I love them! Michelle is a sweetheart! Very accommodating with helping me figure out what I like, very patient too LOL :o) it's been a learning curve and she's great! Her prices are great too! I had called around and other places seem to charge significantly more? Anyway! Highly recommend and...Thank you I'll be back again!

I went in for a haircut. I do have curly hair so I was a bit nervous, but Tasha made me feel comfortable. She took her time asking me questions about how I usually style me hair, and she listened to my wants. She dried cut my hair first to make sure she wasn't going to short and then wet cut it. I would definitely recommend her.

Rhi did a phenomenal job laminating my eyebrows. They look amazing and natural and I really appreciate all the time she put into the details / making sure there was even coverage everywhere. Fantastic results and super friendly!!

Michelle Ranae is a Goddess with eyebrows (and waxing)! I scheduled a consultation after years of thinking about it, and she explained the difference between microblading and microshading, and we decided that the latter would be best.
Then she spent over and hour basically designing my look with powder, and we made a couple of changes that made me feel like this was gonna be great.
I scheduled the appointment and waited...
The day of the appointment finally arrived, and she set about lining everyup on my face so my brows were symmetrical, and took quite a while on that. I was gaining confidence in her abilities as each minute ticked by. After that was done, she applied a numbing cream (Thanks! Whew!) and we waited.
Now time to get down to business. Not gonna lie, I still felt it, but it wasn't too bad. After a while, she handed me a mirror and to say I was please would be an understatement.
I overplucked my eyebrows in my teens and they never grew back. I've had to draw them in ever since. For the first time in over 40 years, I was gonna wake up with eyebrows on my face, and not on the pillow!!
I followed the after care instructions to the T, and after about 2 1/2 weeks, there they were! I had a follow up appointment to go over the original brows and fill in any spots that may have been missed (there were none, she's an eyebrow genius!) and here we are!
I'm not kidding, I cried. I no longer have to draw these bad boys in, and the final shape is exactly what I dreamed of before starting this journey.

I have been coming to Salon Privado since it opened about 7 years ago and it is the best hair salon in the county! Maria Montellano is an outstanding hairstyling professional that I will always continue to be a loyal client! The rest of the hairstylists such as Aldo and Tasha, are also great people and do amazing jobs on their clients. Michelle is awesome when it comes to relaxing facial treatments and lash lifts. The products are high quality. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable. Definitely recommend

I just had a Brazilian waxing from
Shannon Valdivia and she was EXCELLENT. Shannon was professional, gentle and easy to b comfortable with ..and she didn't rush!- if you're Squamish about being naked and having hair removed "down there".. You'd want to find some as great and thorough as Shannon. I highly recommend you ask for her-- if you want an easy and well done Brazilian.

I had Michelle wax my eyebrows 10 months ago . Because I live 40 minutes away I tried a few other salons closer to me but i was not satisfied with the outcome. Driving 40 minutes to have Michelle wax them is the best solution. My brows have never liked so good. The salon is beautiful, with a marina view, clean and the staff there is courteous.

Never been so can't say anything about any of the services, but what I know for sure is....I will never ! be able to to know what their services are like as I will not set foot into this salon.
Tried to schedule an appointment for lash extensions with someone called Michelle. Was given her phone #, left her 3 voice messages and 2 texts and still no response.
I am guessing you are extremely busy Michelle, really happy for you, but we're you not taught human courtesy ? just text "sorry, busy".. would have been sufficient...
And, who ever is the owner of this salon, I also need a hair stylist and wax done and nails as i am new to the area....it's a shame that people like her give a bad name to your salon , at no fault of yours.

Aldo with the assistance of Sabrina was the best hair salon experience I have had in my entire life. I am ecstatic with my hair. It looks so luxurious and beautiful! Thank you!
