2 Feed - in Braids

Feed -in Braids are the illusion of naturally long cornrow braids as if they are growing directly from the scalp. The Feed - in Braid technique is achieved by adding in braiding hair extensions to one's natural hair, strand by strand, beginning with a starter braid using just your natural hair.
Hair extensions are not included. Extensions may be added to the service for an additional cost. Added tracks/crochet are an additional $25. This hair is not available for purchase at the salon (please add in the notes if this service is needed).
If style requires smaller braids in between feed in braids, there will be an additional $15 charge to the service.
1-2 pack of 3X Ruwa Pre-Stretched Hair is highly recommended for this style
Colors supplied in the salon for purchase are Black, Dark Brown and Light Brown. All Additional colors will have to be purchased at a local beauty supply store prior to salon visit.

Soft locs are achieved using pre-looped crochet loc hair of clients choice and 1 pack of X-pression Twisted Up Springy Afro twist. 6-8 packs of Bobbi Boss Nu locs needed to complete this style. Be sure to purchase the desired length. Hair is not included.

Bohemian Knotless braids have small pieces with loose curly hair strands that hang free from the braids and can be booked as an add-on for an additional cost.
Curl pattern is based on your preference and has to be purchased by the client prior to your service.

Crochets

Crochet braids is a technique for braiding hair that involves crocheting synthetic hair extensions to a person's natural hair with a crochet hook. Crochet hair comes in various braided, twisted, and loc styles as well as wavy, straight and curly styles. This service does not include individual crochets around the perimeter of the hair.
Crochet hair is not provided by Salon Journey. Client must bring hair for this service. Braid and twist crochet hair must be pre-looped for installs. If hair is not pre-looped there will be a $75 fee.
Partial Sew-in w Style

A sew-in is a technique used to add hair extensions onto one’s real hair to create fuller, longer hair or shorter hair. Sew-ins are achieved by braiding the natural hair into a cornrow pattern, with minimum leave out at the top, using a sewing needle to sew hair extensions. Sew-ins are a good protective style that gives you the ability to allow your hair to flourish on its own, free from constant manipulation.
Hair extensions are not provided with the style but can be added for an additional cost.

Shampoo/blow dry only services do not include a style.

Virgin Relaxer, trim and style Ages 16+

Service includes full relaxer on natural hair, post chemical treatment, hydration treatment, trim and style.
Relaxer services will not be given to clients under the age of 16.
