• I chose Salon J-Elle based on reviews of salons when I moved to Metairie a few years ago. I was given appointment with Amanda and she has my hairdresser ever since. My mom from Florida came to visit and needed her short hair trimmed. Amanda was not available but the woman (forgot name) who did the cut listened to exactly how my mom wanted her hair and mom was very satisfied. Most people don't listen and mom always leaves disappointed. Not this time. My mother in law briefly lived with us and Sadie was her hairdresser. She too has a short hair style and was always satisfied with her cut.
