Where to begin! I brought my 8th grade son in to get his hair cut. He has a notoriously middle school aged relationship with his hair and hates it most of the time. It's also a total rats nest that drives me crazy but he's going for a vibe that I'm not gonna shut down. 🤷♀️ He was met in the waiting room by Dustin who gave him the greatest greeting of all time, essentially telling him he loved his hair and made him feel immediately comfortable. I stayed out of the way and could hear them talking throughout. Dustin treated my kid with such awesome respect and kindness, talking to him like he would any adult in his chair. My son soaked it all in and left that salon, and Dustin, feeling better about his hair than he ever has. As for the cut...omg it's amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There is nothing in the world like seeing your kid start to feel better about himself when he is navigating the hellscape that is middle school. ❤️❤️
