RKM Martial Arts

My son has been going here for a couple years now and is about to earn his black belt. The time, attention, and dedication that each instructor gives the students is nothing less than amazing. Mr. Policio (the owner) is a top notch instructor and really cares about each one of the kids that comes into his establishment. The discipline, empathy, self care, and maturity my son now has I can say he would not have gained to this magnitude if it were not for Mr. Policio and his instructors. I am so glad that I brought my son to RKM!

We have been part of the RKM Martial Arts family since 2013. It's a great traditional Taekwondo studio with classes for all ages, and the instructors are knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging. I love the focus on developing strong character traits, and I have seen important lessons my son has learned over the years carry over into several other areas of his life: respect for others, discipline, integrity, etc. For those of you who are thinking "This is just for my kids," I would strongly encourage adults to try it out as well. I was encouraged to train by Mr. Pellicio - after not having trained in martial arts for about 10 years - and was able to finally earn my black belt a couple of years ago. You'll be surprised at what you can accomplish!

My daughter has been training with the owner, Mr Pellicio, for almost 6 years. She was a very wild, high energy child when we started. She is now a very disciplined martial artist with a black belt. I really like that she still has an unending amount of training to keep her busy and focused. She also now helps train the 4-7 year olds, in addition to her black belt classes. She has also started training in Jiu Jitsu on Saturdays with Mr. Vargas, and she absolutely loves it. They also offer birthday parties and parent's night outs, in addition to tournaments with other studios.

We have been with this studio for almost 3 years now. My daughter absolutely LOVES it here and so do we! The respect, dicipline and self-esteem that has been instilled her is priceless. She has participated in 2 competitions, bring home 2 gold and 2 silver medals. We expect another 2 gold medals in March. My younger daughter started this week and we are excited to see what she will do. You won't be disappointed with the instruction or the instructors here. I also take advantage of the self- defense cardio class offered. Something for everyone in the family. With the free trial you have nothing to loose. Try them out. I'm glad I did.

We LOVE RKM Martial arts! We were worried about starting our 5 year old in taekwondo because he was so wild. I thought he would be getting disciplined all the time, so it wouldn't be as fun. Mr. Pellicio at RKM has taken all those worries away. The studio is small with a family atmosphere, and all of the instructors really care about the kids. The one time my son needed to be "disciplined" he recieved a strict talking to from an instructor for not following directions, but it was done privately in a fair, calm manner and he went right back to enjoying class. My son always has fun, the instructors know what kids need to stay interested, but they keep the kids on task. They also host monthly parents night outs (which my son goes nuts for) and camps during school breaks that are very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a martial arts class, please try RKM, you won't be disappointed!

My son has been a part of this program for going on 3 years now. The instructors are amazing and work very well with the kids. My son has excelled on the techniques and loves being a part of the program. I'm extremely thankful for this program and this team!
