Rio Body Wax - Greenville

I just got my facial wax again and reading all the bad reviews I don't understand why? I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I love the way Brooke works, she cleans my face before waxing and puts aloe after, I'm always happy with the service.
I even take my 12 yrs old daughter, the first time it was with another girl but now I will have her seeing Brooke as a regular for her eyebrows.

Broke does take her time to do your wax, maybe first timers should read reviews from regular customers and schedule their appointments plus if you walked in you'll get anyone available, just saying.

Celina was the technician that assisted with my waxing! She was so friendly and so funny and so super sweet and nice! These things are so vitally important when you are butt naked getting your inner most private areas wax! Lol I'm definitely going to go there again and I recommend you give them a try!

As you enter/exit, be sure to close the door behind you. The lobby area is relaxing lounge. Endulge on a few peppermints as you wait. Music playing, sometimes holiday music during each of those festive times, sometimes 80s music. Music is slightly different each time I go.
The technicians are very good. Some more than others enjoy their job more.
Prices are very reasonable.

So I've been to Gracie 3 times & I love her. She takes her time, and she carries on a conversation, which makes time go by & take the pain away.

I scheduled a wax last minute yesterday & Gracie was booked. So I scheduled it with Caroline who had an available appointment. Why did I do that? I was greeted by the receptionist & was told to wait 10 minutes although I was on time. What made it worse was I was on my thirty minute lunch break.

Anyways, Caroline greeted me when she was ready & I went back .. got undressed and she came in (the norm).

We got started & this was the second most painful wax i've ever experienced. The first time is the worst but this one .. OMG . I got my underarms done first, which wasn't too bad & then I got my Brazilian. Not too much to say but the wax was NEVER completely dry or ready to be removed, which made it PAINFUL as ... never mind ! She completed my wax & I gave a small tip. But yea, never again.

After a day at work is the only time I could go get a wax. Skin isn't fully clean as I spent a whole day at work, and I indicated that. My waxer put barely any powder so she was waxing basically my skin off. Her glove was also sticking to me. I've had regular waxes since I was 15 and had to get a last minute appointment and they were the only ones open on short notice which was nice but I still have a lot of stray hair. Will probably not go back.

I've never had anything waxed in my life but have wanted a Brazilian for a long time. I was hesitant because I am plus sized and have read bad things on the internet. I have to say now I feel silly for being so worried! I booked with Vannah and she is so good! I would say the pain was a 3/10 and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. she assured me that they see people of all sizes and it's no issue. I have been totally converted to waxing and I will absolutely be back in 4 weeks!

I have been a customer here at Rio for years now and consistency is key! I am never disappointed with my wax services here and they are always able to take me in when I call.

I usually go to Pelham rd but Malu was out of town. I looked at the reviews for the Simpsonville location to see who was the best. I was kinda nervous at first because she was young. However she exceeded my expectations. Autumn is very quick,good, and nice to say the least. I will definitely be back to see her.

Got an eyebrow wax done here, price was great at $10 and the lady was very nice. However, there were some issues that would stop me from returning. There was a lot of wax, in spots, around my eyebrows when I left. She did try to remove some of the excess wax when she finished the wax, however she was a bit rough with it and I actually have scabs there now on both outer edges of my eyebrows. The job felt a bit rushed.

Awful! Awful customer service and very rude staff. I had booked three services (one 40 minute service, one 20 minute service, and another 20 minute service). There was a bad traffic accident and I was 6 minutes late to my appointment. I was told they were going to cancel ALL three of my services because I was 6 minutes late! I asked why they couldn't just cancel one, and the girl behind the desk just laughed at me. I finally convinced them to do one of the 20 minute services (eyebrow tinting and waxing). I spent $50 on the WORST eyebrow tinting I've ever received. She took off almost my entire eyebrow and dyed my brows completely black. I could've done better with a sharpie. Will NEVER be back.
