Fewer points are used in these sessions and needle retention is limited to 25 minutes, these sessions may include acupressure or acupressure foot massage as well.
In the weeks surrounding your due date sessions are focused to prepare your body and mind for the process of birth, or to stimulate the onset of labor, opening the energy flow to encourage a smooth and healthy birth. If you are past your due date treatments can be given daily until labor begins (often only 1-2 sessions are needed).
