• I was dehydrated and suffering with a migraine headache that could not be relieved using my home prn sumatriptan injection. I went to the doctor and received a toradol injection which did not break the migraine. The doctor said that if the migraine did not subside I should go to the emergency room for further treatment. I decided to try the Recovery Room instead of going to the emergency room. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly online while still in the doctor's office for two hours later that very same day. Upon arriving for my appointment a member of the staff and I discussed the reason for my visit and determined which intravenous treatment would best meet my needs. There was no wait time. I immediately was taken to the treatment area and within 45 minutes I was walking out the door. I went home and slept for the remainder of the evening and late into the following day. When I woke I felt like a new person. My migraine was gone and I felt the most rested and refreshed I have ever felt.
