• My husband and I live close in Livermore, but a 10 minute travel here felt a world away. We savored every bit of the resort during our time here--summer concert in the olive grove, overnight stay, breakfast in our room, lounging by the pool, couple's massage, and lunch by the pool. It was such a restorative experience, and one we will repeat again without hesitation. The owner and his wife visited with us and checked in multiple times during our stay--a truly personal experience from beginning to end. The beautiful view of the vineyard and restored while lounging around the pool, and our lunch poolside was incredible! I would highly recommend a night stay here, and taking advantage of the pool is also well worth it. We are planning another stay very soon--why the heck would we battle traffic and pay extra for a Napa/Sonoma experience when we have all this right here? The outdoor concert was dynamite, made only sweeter by delicious and reasonably priced food while sitting barefoot in the grass--ahh :-)). Beautiful kudos to the crew at Purple Orchid!!

• We had an awesome experience at the Purple Orchid. The inn keepers make you feel like your at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting, breakfast and lunch wonderful with beautiful pool & garden surrounding. Great place for two or a party. I definitely recommend this bed and breakfast and don't forget the spa!!

• My girlfriend and I went mid week for a massage and each of us had a great soothing massage . We were also able to use the pool and hot tub before and after . Great local getaway in the Livermore wine country !
