Pura Vida is a little grey beautiful, relaxing cottage in St. Pete. You'll likely pass it while trying to find it. Note that it is directly across the street from the laundromat. Once you step inside, you immediately feel relaxed. The color scheme, decor, and wonderful customer service make you feel right at home.

I know some people think colonics are a fad and unnecessary. From my experience, it has been the only thing that has helped me with my GI issues these last few years. My appointment was with Linda and we took the time to review my concerns and what I hoped to gain from the session. She is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable.
This system uses the gravity method and having tried all three (open, closed and gravity), I'll tell you this was probably the best one I've had. Just give it a try. What have you got to lose?

Excellently lovely sweet duo runs this colon hydrotherapy oasis. I've been a regular here for 2 plus years. Linda is a jack of all trades who will treat your insides to a luxurious workout/boot camp. Expect crystal and Tibetan brass healing bowls and satiny velvety floor cushions for sacred tea ceremonies. The infrared sauna is delicious. Come get washed out on your next day off- it'll make you feel productive.

Being new to "Colonics" I was a little apprehensive about going to get a Colonic but after researching a little I felt that the gentle Woods Gravity Method would be a great place to start. Pura Vida therapist Linda Lancaster made the session very comfortable and absolutely painless. The first session has more extensive detailing of the how and why of the simple process, subsequent sessions are a little simpler. At first the sensation of the slightly warmed body temp water Inflows and outflows felt strange (not painful at all) on my first visit, maybe it's the air bubbling a little- but by the second and subsequent visit the experience was completely comforting and welcoming. I think the fear of the unknown made me a little skittish on the first one. I definitely felt better, lighter and refreshed afterwards. At first I did 3 weekly visits to get my colon clean for detoxification purposes and now do regular "Gerson Coffee Enema's" almost daily at home as a holistic cancer therapy and will be returning quarterly for a full "Colonic" at Pura Vida. Colon therapy once was a very traditional therapeutic body maintenance treatment in the olde past that should be revived again for better health, wellness and disease prevention. I am battling cancer so detoxification is critical, but for anyone seeking optimum or improved health, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a Pura Vida Colonic! It's said that gut or digestive health controls general health and the digestive tract or stomach is the "2nd Brain"...

Linda Lancaster is amazing. Very knowledgeable about colon hydrotherapy and likes to take her time. The location was easy to find and once I was there, I felt very comfortable. Everyone is welcoming and the place has a laid back hippy vibe to it. Will always go here

This place is wonderful! I started seeing Kathleen for colon therapy. I suffer from IBS. She has taken her time and went above and beyond to try to help me. She is truly amazing! Her place is clean and a great vibe.

The spa is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I was a little nervous going in for my first colonic, but Kathleen was great about talking me through the whole thing so I knew exactly what to expect. She is the consummate professional and helped me feel at ease and maintain my modesty. I've had multiple colonics now, and I love the way I feel afterward: so much lighter, with more energy, with easier digestion and alleviation of digestive problems for several days to a week. I cannot recommend Pura Vida enough.

I was referred to Kat from a friend and it changed my life and health for the better. After being prescribed far too many antibiotics, I struggled with candida overgrowth and absolutely nothing was working to get rid of it. That is, until I started doing colonics. You never feel over exposed and Kathleen makes you feel warm and welcomed. Honestly, give yourself a treat and visit her! You won't regret. I feel great already.
