This is my 2nd time at pressed roots and I’m always satisfied with the service, atmosphere, friendly employees, music and last but definitely not the least… the wash!😩 So relaxing. I was helped by trinity and I would rate my experience with her an 8/10. She was heavy handed throughout the wash.. it was more painful than relaxing (although I did put no to sensitive scalp) the woman who did my wash last time still got my scalp squeaky clean while being relaxed! Fast forward to the press, I was on the other side of the salon opposite from the wash place.. for some odd reason I was the only one with a chair that didn’t have a rest stool for your feet and the chair was slanted. After a few times of pulling myself up from literally slipping off the chair, back hurting and all I asked her about the ladies to left and right of me chair and how it looked much more comfortable, which she replied too “oh this is a styling chair” I just nodded my head and she got back to blow drying. At that point I felt like I got my answer and it would be a little humiliating on my end to FUTHER ask for a more comfy chair.. At this point we’re 20 minutes into styling, my back is hurting from the chair, I’m constantly pulling myself up and I shake my foot a lot I’m nervous. She told me that I was ”ancy” and some what like her cousin daughter with ADHD ??? I just nervously giggled and we got back to the hair. I’m “ancy” and pulling myself up bc of the slanted uncomfortable chair that I recently expressed.. Now we’re almost done and of the clients to the right of me left with a beautiful side part curled 😍👸🏾 And I got inspired! I asked for a middle part to begin with though, but she was curling below my ear when I asked her if she could do a side part for me which she replied “I already blow dried your hair for a middle part”. I understand it would be very inappropriate to ask once she’s reached my crown area but we were only 1/4 done. I can tell trinrity is a kind woman and my feed back would be to be more gentle and understanding with customers. I still love pressed roots and will be back in the future!😊
