• The technical detail Van puts into the cut is second to none. She expresses tremendous empathy, as she tries to understand not only my hair goals, but the factors that drive them (e.g., my personality and lifestyle). She holds firm to her expertise and understanding of hair principles, and is honest with me about what my hair can and cannot do, but is still flexible and adaptable. She provides an unbelievable wealth of knowledge through her recommendations for hair care and styling, and is an amazing conversationalist. The vibe in the salon is great and I always look forward to coming back.
