Had my massage with DIEGO and he is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Take it from someone gets massages at least twice a month! He is the perfect balance, of working out your muscles but keeping it relaxing it for you. I find a lot Massue's think they need to cause you pain to work out kinks. Diego was well aware of his pressure and how to work certain areas. He also had such calm energy that makes experience pure BLISS! He had a positive disposition. A Massues should be aware of the energy they bring when working with a client. I've had massages in the past where I felt that they were having a bad day or they weren't present. Diego was professional in that and his massage!
I usually pay $100 at other places for a massage but I can go here once a month instead of twice a month and pay a little more if the massages are this good. I could see myself coming once a month because I walked out feeling like brand new person! Highly recommend. Thank you DIEGO!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 11, 2023
I've been getting massages consistenly for nearly 20 years now and have gone everywhere from luxury spas to Chinatown hole-in-the-walls, but the massage I just got at Press might be the best one yet.
Ryan LG was an absolute pro from beginning to end. He started by asking me what sort of issues I was having and what I was currently doing to treat them, and impressed me off the bat with his knowledge. I appreciated that Press has private rooms, heated tables, relaxing music, and a receptionist.
The 90-minute massage was pure bliss. Ryan specializes in myofascial release and I feel like a new woman walking out of there. I will absolutely be going back here on a regular basis!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Josh K.Brooklyn, NY59567Apr 17, 2023
The folks at PRESS do much more than just provide a great massage. They'll help answer your questions about your physiology, identify things you can choose to work on (or not) regarding posture, flexibility, strength, and other behavioral changes.
My work requires sitting at a computer all day, and for all the value I got out of making changes like buying a sit-stand desk and forcing myself to take periodic breaks, a single session at PRESS was enough to teach me everything I needed to know about the right stretches to add into my routines.
I couldn't have gotten that information from my own research; I needed PRESS to feel and identify the specific needs of back/shoulders/neck and all the way through the entire ergonomic chain I'm working on improving at my home office setup.
You literally can't do better than this. Go. You deserve it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Janelle G.Orange, CA12032124Mar 21, 2023
This was my first time at Press and I'm so pleased with my massage by Joseph.. He was professional, clam and made sure I was comfortable. Definitely recommend this spot for a little relaxing getaway from the busy streets of NYC. I absolutely will be returning :)

I went here to receive my first ever massage and I'm extremely glad I did so. The price for the deep massage for an hour is well worth it for how great you will feel afterwards. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's willing to feel like an entirely new being.

I have been getting massages for may years, I feel so lucky to have found a gem at Press. Sarah not only has golden hands (truly). She is a wonderful person and will be happy to communicate if you want to share any issues you may have so she may pay special attention to those areas. 90 minutes is well worth it to melt away the stress of the week. I see Sarah twice a month!
Press is an beautiful and clean environment, I highly recommend.

I've seen Anthony twice now for my back and neck. I'm a tattoo artist and after years of bad posture my back and neck are so tight and full of knots and I have nerve pain and numbness in areas. We've been doing deep tissue massages and Anthony knows the exact areas to work on my neck and back. 10/10 would recommend, I'm starting to finally be able to turn my head without pain and my back is getting less irritated at work.
Super friendly and professional staff, I have no complaints!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vanessa R.New York, NY12884Feb 17, 2021
I'm in between 3.5-4 stars for this location. I definitely was excited to come here for the first time because of all the great reviews. I actually had bought my mother in law a gift certificate for a massage for Christmas because of it. She has yet to use it so when my two year anniversary with my boyfriend arrived this month, I figured what better way to spend it? To relax and to let my mother in law know what she should expect!
Pros: I appreciated the kind receptionist that scheduled my appointments and accommodated me. Social distancing was enforced as I waited outside to be buzzed in and everyone wore masks. The main reasons why I was there were addressed: my trapezius pain and lower back, I wish it was more addressed. My therapist was Christian who was polite and friendly. I really loved the heated massage bed and the serene music.
Cons: I really feel like $130 for a standard massage is slightly high. I have no problem paying this price but for services that are truly worth it. I wanted to walk out of there and feel like I really got my money's worth. Just a little more love: some hot stones incorporated, a simple glass of champagne, etc. There were two things that weren't ideal for me during the massage: Christian spent like 15 minutes pressing on my rib cage on either side and performing breathing exercises. It was uncomfortable and I did communicate I was there for my back specifically so I was a little bummed that it took away from my 60 minutes. He also was pulling my legs, I'm assuming to stretch? But this was also uncomfortable and not asked for. I understand the whole "different strokes for different folks" but just wish it was different for my first time.
The Williamsburg location is inside of a shared building and doesn't look like the Greenpoint one at all. It's just like random doors..even to use the bathroom was down the hall away from where we were being massaged. Atheistically it wasn't pleasing and not what I expected for the price.
Lastly, it was a little weird that both masseuses stuck around while we tipped. It felt like I was forced to tip the 20% even though you should be tipping in regards to the service you received. In other words, I felt scared to choose to tip 18% with them hovering over me.
Press Massage might not be for me but I guess I mean you can't fully find out until you experience it, right?Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Oct 15, 2019
I have had massages since I was 22 and across the world. WOW... 100% without a doubt, Jennifer at Press is the best massage therapist I have ever had - bar none. It wasn't just that I felt relaxed, but wow, I felt like my body had been transformed.
She also really knows her anatomy and knows the science behind the human body. For me, I really like how she gets to stress points in unique ways that are more comfortable and less painful (compared with my previous massage therapists).
This is the real deal if you want serious muscle loosening (calling all athletes).
Oh and yes... great personalities and fun people work here.
Two things to know.
1. I just moved to New York - massages are 50% more expensive (just like rent) because licensing in NY is insane
2. It is a bit hard to find at first... just follow the Google Maps and ring the buzzer.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
