Prior to the Covid shutdown, I booked for a hydrofacial, decolletage facial (sp?), and a Brazilian wax. My face and chest felt so much better and less congested afterwards. The chestne/backne runs strong in me.

She is very knowledgeable and I really liked the smell and feel of the product line. The Brazilian wax was actually the least painful one I've ever had due to the way she had the bed set up for the waxing and she talked me though it. I was very comfortable with her.

I also tried a mild chemical peel on my face with her and that was great as well. My acne has much improved. When the numbers for covid go down and things open back up, I will be happy to go back.

Total rip-off. Their version of "hydrafacial" did nothing to my skin.

The place is no longer owned by Adeena. Went for my first consult this last Saturday and I was recommended to start with the hydrafacial, since I've acne prone skin I said I didn't want anything too harsh done on my skin. So the Ami basically skipped multiple steps in the facial and ran the wand on my face twice the hydrafacial itself lasted a max of like 8 minutes.. and she kept talking all the time through procedure when I thought I would have a relaxing time, I had to listen to her talk to herself too, like whoever trained this person. It was horrid. She didn't replace harsh steps with anything but then charged me full amount. The aesthetician also seemed very stressed out and over zealous when she was scrubbing my face my eyelids, with her towel, it was painful. Horrible experience.

Then there was the "led facial" which involved shining the led light on my face for 10 minutes and that was it. She massages my arms and my neck then, the neck massage almost broke my neck.

She basically spent 30 mins on my skin and I was charged $280 + 10% tax Me being me I always tip so 308 went down the drain for nothing.

I got to my car and realized how I'd been cheated and called them, they refunded $60. I basically wanted half the money back, because it was such a horrible experience.

On hindsight I really want all my money back for this harrowing experience.

Soooo I just started going here due to the reviews and my skin was going through a crazy spell with all the traveling and different climates. I rely on yelp to point me in the right direction and they did it again.
This lady knows her stuff. I mean there is nothing more to say than try it for yourself.

Pros.
Her spirit is sweet and her customer service is what makes your visit there impeccable
Skin showed improvements after the first visit
Her hand made products are amazing
Her skin looks amazing

Cons
Yes it's pricey (but so is all skin care) but this one actually works.
Nothing else (you get what you pay for)

Side note (Thanks you sooo much for our relaxation wraps. Shoulders need it)

This is the best hydrafacial I've ever had. Ami knows her stuff and my skin loved this treatment and the products they used. My pores looked better and my skin was glowing for days. The salon is really beautiful, the tables are comfortable and I was relaxed nearly into a nap. They have great skincare products for in between visits, too.

Adeena is fantastic. Not only is she talented but she is kind, thoughtful, and a very good listener.

When I moved to San Diego a few months ago, I was overwhelmed by the skincare options. Fortunately, I narrowed it down to Poema (given reviews) and have not been disappointed.

I first received the three-facial combo and then talked to Adeena about my skin problems and how to solve them. We decided on an 8-week (4 weeks in a row, then every other week) microneedling. I won't see the full results for another six months but I am pleased at the results so far. Growing up with severe acne from early teens to early 20s left my skin very damaged. I wanted to continue the work I had done in Boston and I'm so glad I did. A friend of mine (who I've known for 10 years) even commented (unprovoked) how much smoother my skin looks and it's all thanks to Adeena.

I am looking forward to wrapping up my final microneedling appointment and seeing Adeena only for facials moving forward:)

I do purchase some of her products as well, which I believe help contribute to my skin's success. She is always trying to improve herself and business and I appreciate working with someone who isn't just interested in maintaining the status quo.

Adeena literally transformed my skin. I've gone to several people in San Diego thinking "they were the best" but she literally blew everyone I've gone to out of the water! Not only does she have alllll the ins on what celebrities are using why, but she has specific equipment that only a few selected spas offer world wide AND she's affordable. Oh...& get her night cream!!! Her whole skin care line has some of the best ingredients I've seen in one premium line. God basically answered my skin care prayers when this woman came into my life!

I came to Adeena with some disaster skin and lacking any sort of knowledge on how to fix it. After an amazing hydra facial and LED light treatment, I left with the confidence that after 12+ years I had FINALLY found a solution to my troubled skin. And two weeks later my skin is night and day different. I still can't believe it. I have been using the at-home LED light stim, a few of Adeena's AWE products, and the Osmosis makeup line she sells. All of it worth every penny.

I have another facial with her this week and I am counting down the days, can't wait! I am so excited to be feeling like myself again and not having to hide behind a gross face of makeup. :)

This place is open! I'm a guy and I've had bad acne for the last 4-5 months and I tried so many products to get rid of the acne but nothing worked. I just got a hydra facial and the results are amazing. My face became so much clearer right after and it's continuing to clear up. Amy knows what's she's doing and she gladly explained every step so I knew what was going on. Amy is very nice, sweet, funny, smart, and the best esthetician out there. I highly recommend going here. Trust me, you will love your results!.

Loved loved loved my facial yesterday with Adeena she is so knowledgeable professional and generous!! My skin looks and feels like a million bucks! I'll be back! Outstanding service - great products and Adeena really explained all of the different info red - hydra and electro therapies she uses brand new technology it was really neat. Very clean too. I can't say enough good things about Adeena & my experience! I did a ton of research before booking my hydrafacial. I was having a rare breakout and was freaking out about what to do. I wanted to be sure wherever I went wasn't going to just help relieve the breakout, but help inform me so I could be more proactive in the future. Adeena took plenty of time explaining to me what was happening with my skin and the step by step process I can take at home to improve my skin. The hydrafacial itself was AMAZING! I can't recommend it enough. Afterwards, I did the LED light which was a neat experience and super relaxing. I am already planning ahead for my next visit and have recommended the hydrafacial and Poema Skincare to anyone and everyone! My face has never felt better!
