Cupping, or "Fire Cupping", is the use of "cups" to create a vacuum and draw toxins out of the body. Unlike the original "cups" made from animal horns and bamboo, todays cups are clean, round glass orbs that feel great when applied. By quickly inserting and removing a small flame from inside the cup, and then placing the warm cup on the surface of the body, a vacuum is created that holds the cup in place. While it may look and sound strange, cupping can actually be a a very pleasant experience. It could almost be described as an "inside out massage."
