Cupping is an ancient technique used to release muscle tension and detoxify the body while reducing pain. It is used to alleviate symptoms and treat a range of illnesses, improve circulation, eliminate toxins, boost immunity, and restore wellbeing. Treatment times are between 30 min to an hour.

How it works:
Small glass cups are placed on the skin and create suction. As the air inside the cup cools, it creates a vacuum. This causes the skin to rise and redden as blood vessels expand. The process is much like the inverse of massage - rather than applying pressure to muscles, it uses gentle pressure to pull them upward. The cup is generally left in place for five to 10 minutes while patients relax.
