Instructor was very knowledgeable and very mindful that it was my first time. She constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable with the "tension" on the equipment and that I did not aggravate my shoulder from a previous injury. I also had slightly limited movement due to soreness around my knees and the instructor was very mindful of this and made adjustments to ensure I was able to participate fully. As a 59 year old, it is very important to me that I do not injure myself and I felt that the instructor had safety as a priority and gave me alternative resources so I could participate fully. She tailored the machine to my capability. She is an absolute asset to the centre, attentive, professional, conscious of safety, knowledgeable, fun and cared about each of the participants. When needed, she took the initiative to demonstrate how to do certain movements so it could be done more proficiently. I wish all instructors are like her. Thank you.
