• I also posted this review on yelp. I've always wanted to try a Thai massage in this place that is so close to my home. After walking about 10 miles on my usual weekend adventures, I chanced calling for a last minute appointment. The connection sounded a little bad but alas, I had finally made an appointment for a Thai/Swedish massage. I arrived a little early to fill out paperwork and upon entering, I already felt myself relax due to the ambiance. Clients had to remove their shoes prior to stepping into the massage grounds, which I appreciated. The massage space brought me back to when I vacationed in Thailand and Bali. For Thai massages, they provide loose fitting garments for you to wear, as there is a lot of stretching. I had the therapist June, and she is a small but very strong woman! I usually like my massages firm and she definitely did not hold back. There were some fleeting moments where I thought I should have noted "medium" instead of "firm" pressure, but I actually enjoyed the firmness as the massage continued, especially on my neck. June is very sweet and accommodating to your needs so communication is key if anything is bothering you, even if it was evident in the form you completed. I had to remind her to avoid a few sensitive spots. June is very skilled in her massage technique. She used the ceiling ropes to control the pressure as she walked on my back, legs, expertly stretched me, and incorporated my requested Swedish-style massage with lol.
