Palmer Skin

I was introduced to Tim Palmer 10 years ago and I can still say to this day nobody compares when it comes to Waxing.
His knowledge, expertise and skill level is unmatched.
Waxing of course is not always the most pleasant experience but Tim makes it a breeze.
He is fast, precise and makes the process as painless as possible.
On top of that he is super easy to talk to, and keeps a dialog going so you aren't even thinking about the fact he is waxing you. By the time we catch up he is finished with my service and I barely even had time to think about it.
I also have extremely sensitive skin and tend to be prone to breakouts but I have never had a breakout when I have used Tim.
I couldn't not recommend him more, if you are looking for the best body waxer in the business go to Tim Palmer!

Today I tried Palmer Skin for the first time and got an amazing massage and facial from Elizabeth!

I have been frequenting another local spa, but wasnt 100% satisfied with their services, so I decided to start branching out and looking for my next "home".

Scheduling appointments is quick and easy using the website- and they offer early appointments, which is nice. The best part about Palmer Skin is that they not only offer treatments that would make for a really relaxing spa day (HydraFacial, lash/brow treatments, jelly masks), but they also offer clinical treatments like IV Peels, microneedling, DiamondGlow resurfacing treatments. They also offer whole body treatments that all sound so amazing that I would find it impossible to choose one.

I went to the Hillcrest location, which was easy to find with lots of street parking (this may change depending on time of day). My esthetician, Elizabeth, was super friendly and very knowledgeable about skin care and all things related to muscle tension, back pain and physiology. She let me fall asleep on the massage table and followed up my appointment with feedback on problem areas in my upper and lower back (I always appreciate when a massage therapist lets me sleep and saves the talking for later). Elizabeth also worked with me on creating a treatment plan for the pain I've been having in my upper and lower back.

In addition to a massage, I got a dermaplaning service because it's a service that is somewhat hard to find in my area. The service included a facial and foot treatment, which was amazing. Once my appointment ended, I immediately booked my next treatment with Elizabeth. The front desk staff were a couple of the cutest people I've ever seen, and they were friendly and happy to assist in scheduling my next appointment. I look forward to my next appointment!

I had an appointment here with the esteemed AMY and oh my gosh I'm so glad it was her. She is amazing and knows EVERYTHING about skin! She put so many things on my face and explained everything to me. I hope she adopts me. I'm coming back next month!

To be a little bit more specific I got a Hydrofacial and it was my first time ever coming to a place like this or doing anything like that to my face. Amy saw a white pustule in my EYE OMG but I was too afraid to get it out. But she has the all seeing eye and can SEE shit like that. God she was incredible.

It smells good in here. It's clean in here. I felt comfortable almost ripping my clothes off as soon as I walked in the door. I could tell Amy literally anything - she was so cool oh man. I'm really looking forward to coming back here... new addiction discovered!

Oh btw I should mention that I've NEVER seen my skin look the way it did after the Hydrofacial was over. Holy shit. I'm super pale Ashkenazi, and this made me look like I was fully inhabiting my skin and face. It would make more sense if you experience it yourself. Do something kind for yourself and come here!

I was on a budget and limited time window for myself and a friend. Palmer Skin had an affordable facial rate with coupon and availability for my friend and I to get facials at the same time. Just what we wanted at a time and price that worked for us!

Tim has an incredible team that is so knowledgeable regarding all things skincare. I've experienced exceptional service and anyone I have referred or bought gift certificates for has had a great experience. They offer male waxing, female waxing, a multitude of skin care options, and even massage I think. The locations are really convenient, beautiful and clean, and parking is never an issue. I highly recommend everyone to make an appointment. Even their online scheduling is easy to use.

Elias went above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating attention to detail while performing a crack and baseball wax. He was communicative throughout the whole process which made me feel very comfortable. His valuable feedback and after care guidance were greatly appreciated, and I look forward to returning.
