• I recently returned to a dermatologist to help with my mild acne. It had been years since I had used prescription topical medication and oral antibiotics, but I was fed up with my skin. While I was there, my dermatologist recommended getting facials, micro needling, and microdermabrasion in addition to the medications she prescribed. I figured, I spend money on my nails, hair, spray tans, etc. If I really wanted to see results, I needed to prioritize my skin! I have always been self conscious about my acne. I don't like looking people directly in the eyes sometimes or talking too closely to them because they can see my bad skin. So after doing some research, I found Old City Med Spa. I booked an initial consultation with Mahala Brien. I work until 4:30 during the weekends, so I was so happy to see that they were open until 7 because it worked well with my schedule. Mahala was so helpful and really cared about my concerns. Very genuine. Rebecca Chan did my acne facial with a microdermabrasion add-on. She was so kind and personable during the session. I also work in customer service, and it's important to gauge your customers' mood. Rebecca did a fabulous job of keeping me relaxed, and talking to me when I wanted. I had worked all day and just wanted to lay there and relax and she picked up on that and didn't talk my ear off. Sounds silly but it's important! My face has never looked better. Kudos to those two incredible women! I will be back :)
