Regarded as "Madison's Couples Spa", we have grown and added many more services. We continue to feature our couples packages, with two private couples suites, and a private couples whirlpool, complete with candles, bubbles and sparkling drink. We also have the capacity and breadth of services to cater to all bridal, bachelor/bachelorette, group, and company outing needs. We are a locally, family-owned business. We have lived our entire lives in the Madison area. Our business has been serving clients for about 20 years.

I have been coming to Oasis for five years now and finally have had it. Between the first visit and now it seems like quality has just continues to fade. Since originally coming here, the Spa has switched owners. What should be a relaxing experience has slowly evolved to a gnawing frustration. Attempts at expressing concerns to management or a request to talk to the owners have been dismissed and ignored.
When I used to come here the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Patrons who were regulars were sometimes offered accommodations that were much appreciated and provided a stronger spa experience. Asimple example is the loyalty program that would allow massage upgrades.
Things have become less relaxing and more about the money here. In the past, if I woke up sick the day of a massage and called in, I would face no financial penalty. Now it seems like it is really black and white and there is a penalty without question. My friends who also would frequent here tell me they have had "acts of God events" that are not accepted as real. The absolute nature of this policy is sad and really seems to show the disconnect of good customer service. This is in the setting of Oasis making several mistakes with my appointments, sometimes double booking massage therapists or booking the wrong therapists for a massage with no apology or accomodation for their mistake.
The turn over of high quality massage therapists is also incredibly disappointing. Oasis has went through probably a couple dozen massage therapists since my initial massage here. I can only presume they are not being paid well enough to stay around.
There are better places around Madison who know how to treat their customers.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hello Jay,
First, I want to say thank you for the feedback.. After reading your review, I see that you are already aware that we have gone through quite a few changes over the last few years. I am not personally familiar with, nor did I find much detail regarding, the issues that you have had at our spa. However, I would love the chance to address your concerns if there are specific incidents or feedback you are open to discussing. Please feel free to contact me directly, if you would like to talk further I will definitely make myself available. - Oct 28, 2017
First time spa experience, had a great time.
It's located within the same building that Princeton club is in, but is sorta in its own area.
We did the couples massage, with a facial and a whirlpools. For the massage, we were in the same room that can be divided by a sliding door. The atmosphere was relaxing, masseuses were good and the music was comforting. Lasted an hour
After about an hour, we out on the robe and went to the relaxation room (waiting room) to be picked up the facial people. Super relaxing as well, lasted about 30 mins ish.
Last was the whirlpool, we were also given sparking cider and chocolates.
Would recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Samantha A.Lake Mills, WI02Sep 19, 2019
Frustrated and disappointed to see that the salon has permanently closed. After hearing good things I was excited to purchase a gift certificate to treat a friend for her birthday. What is being done to reimburse those that purchased gift certificates that have not been used? It's very frustrating that gift certificates would continue to be sold when owners/management knew of future closure and dissolution.

Another girls day spa is in the books and it was fabulous! I went to the spa with my mother and two adult daughters. We all had an amazing time and will definitely be back! Thank you to Oasis Spa and Salon for a job well done!

I went to Oasis for a 30 minutes massage and Fancy Feet service. I've never had such a terrible massage. My masseuse was unresponsive to my requests during the massage, and ultimately tailored the massage to her likings.
The Fancy Feet was very simple and something I could have done at home by myself. The woman scrubbed my feet with sugar scrub, rinsed my feet with water and applied lotion. I couldn't believe I paid for such services. I was terribly dissatisfied. I would not recommend choosing Oasis for your body and relaxation services.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Hilary D.Philadelphia, PA1045May 18, 2011
Last fall, I purchased two Groupons to use at this spa as a gift for a family member. She wanted us to be able to go together, and we called about three weeks before the Groupon was going to expire. The owner told me via email that "all Groupon appointments" were completely booked, and that if we wanted her to honor the Groupon, we would have to pay an extra $25. I asked her directly if she was only allowing a certain number of "Groupon appointments" per day or per week. She neglected to answer this question. In the end, I requested a refund, and Groupon graciously complied.
I really feel like this was not a respectful way to treat customers, and I find it disturbing to think that many Groupon / Oasis Day Spa customers might have been taken advantage of by this business.
Just yesterday, Oasis sent out another Groupon. I hope that this time they only take as many Groupon customers as they intend to service.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica T.Estero, FL75111Feb 19, 2013
I've had a massage, a mani, and two pedis here. All of my previous experiences have been par for the course. My latest pedi turned in to a not so nice memory. The technician cut my cuticle on my big toe and didn't even mention it to me. I felt a little sting as she was cleaning the lotion off before using the polish - but I didn't think too much of it. A week and a half later, I get to go to prompt care for an infected nail bed.
I wouldn't be so upset about this if it had been from a strip mall nails joint, but from a day spa? And the amount of money you have to pay for their service? I'm going to think twice before visiting them for a pedi again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - H M.Belleville, WI01Sep 10, 2019
Closed without warning. I had an appointment to use a gift certificate- two days before the appointment they emailed that they were no longer in business. There was no way to contact anyone- Leaving me without my hair done for a vacation and a useless gift certificate that my husband paid over $150 for.

Every time I travel to Wisconsin I try to get an appointment with Oasis for a massage. The place is welcoming, relaxing, not over the top but well maintained, clean and comfortable.
The massage therapists are knowledgeable, friendly, adaptable and have always given me a wonderfully therapeutic experience in addition to an excellent value.
Highly recommend and will keep coming back! One of my favorite things about being in WI.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I was home for the holidays visiting family so my friend and I thought it would be a good time to catch up and treat ourselves to a manicure and pedicure. Needed to prep for New Years Eve! I got the gel manicure - clean up the nails, a nice soak, a GREAT hand massage and then the gel. Great color selection - I picked a nice sparkly one for my NYE festivities. The manicure definitely lasted at least 2 weeks.
My friend got a pedicure - massage chair, lots of foot rubbing and soaking. She definitely enjoyed it and her toes turned out great. It was also nice because we could chat with each other while we were both getting services - it was not like she was across a huge room like standard nail salons and chatting would require disrupting everyone in the salon. This was definitely a more cozy setting.
Overall a great experience and the perfect way to catch up with friends and treat yourself at the same time!
OH and ps: The massage chairs are the BEST I have ever sat in. It is not just some massage mat put on a normal chair. This is equivalent of a deep massage, no fooling around. Try out the pedicure for the chair experience alone!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
