• My son is really enjoying this week of camp.

• I asked my 9 year old camper: she said, "bc she loves the obstacle courses and the surf slider." She gave you a 10. I would say 7. From my perspective, it would be nice if the campers had an assigned coach (staff member) who would get to know their group and importantly, provide feedback. I know my daughter wants to take ninja warrior seriously and it would be great if she got feedback or some direction to help her improve. As an aside, I asked if she got to know any staff members and she said 'no'. She knows the name "Ms. Shaka", but wouldn't be able to recognize her amongst the staff; she doesn't know the name of any other staff members. My daughter reporter said one staff member said "good job" to her on one occasion today, but reported that was the only interaction/conversation/feedback that she had. We traveled 2,081 miles away for her to come to camp. I hope this can improve as the week goes on.
