• Thylaice was an incredible massage therapist! She took such good care of me throughout my entire Ocean treatment, but her massage was the best part! I left feeling completely relaxed and restored.

• We recently had a couples massage at Nine Stones Spa. The atmosphere in the waiting areas was very relaxing and we were already soothed before entering the massage room. We both enjoyed our massages, which were tailored a bit to what each of us wanted. The room was very comfortable and relaxing, with music playing. They don't provide a choice of aromatics, which we have had at other spas, but that did not make our time any less enjoyable. The locker rooms were small, with the men's having one bathroom, one shower, and a small sauna / steam room. We did not bring any accessories with us, so it would have been nice to have some disposable combs available for post-shower. Again, just something to think about on your visit. The only real negative wasn't with Nine Stones, but with the nearby construction noises that permeated the room. There is a building being erected and the noise during our massage was a little distracting. Not so much that we would avoid going back right away if we could. We'll likely plan a return visit next time we are in Portland!

• The calmness that the spa exudes as soon as I started to walk up the ramp/path to get ready for my facial. The lounge with the fireplace was also a calming place to read and enjoy a cup of tea..reminding me to slow down..and just be.
