• "I was given a gift certificate to Nine Stones by several friends after a death in the family. I have lived in Portland for over four years now and knew about this place but had never ventured in. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the interior architecture is beautifully warm and serene in design. The massage therapist (thanks Vicki!) was attentive and experienced and the massage was exactly what I needed. (I am all for the relaxing massage but what I needed this day was a therapeutic deep massage.) Afterwards, I was able to sit in the lounge and drink a cup of a delicious turmeric tea and truly relax. There was no hard sell to buy products and I was not rushed out- two things that have happened in other spas I have been to. I highly recommend Nine Stones for anyone who needs a break from life, a little pampering and a great massage.
