Awhile back I desperately needed a manicure, my hands were in need of some tender loving care. So I made an appointment, got to the Salon and had my $40 manicure. The technician wasn't that friendly, she never smiled or spoke to me other than telling me to go to the sink and put the sugar scrub on my hands and rub them. She did however talk to her coworker quite a bit. She never massaged my hands as in traditional manicure and her polish wasn't the best I had. Now, I'm an older woman, and I'm easy going, so I paid my $30 plus I gave her a $10 tip. And left feeling kind of crappy. But I couldn't put my finger on the problem. It was a busy, long day for me and I put it out of my mind. The next day I picked up the pamphlet and was reading about the manicures they offered. When it dawned on me that I basically did a $40 manicure myself as she basically took off my previous polish and repolished my nails, I got a bit grumpy. No attention to details were done. The service was awful and the price for a manicure was overpriced for the promised service I decided I needed to take a breather before I called the Salon. Useless to say, life goes on and other important things happened. But just a few minutes ago I received an email telling me I need to make an appointment to come in and be serviced. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather not have their services. The tech was lazy and could have explained the process instead of being rude and not doing her job. The thing that bothers me was that I gave her a tip she didn't deserve. So, I don't recommend their services for manicures.
