My specialist walked me through everything she was doing step by step before she would do it. When your eyes are closed, it's hard to anticipate certain things so having her communicate to me when she would be doing what, was so helpful. She also kindly instructed me to perform certain facial moves to get the best angle for the laser. I have had treatments in the past for the same thing and I have never had someone be so kind, but also detailed and extremely thorough. Shelby listened exactly to what I thought my problem spots were and at the end, had additional concentration there. She also asked me about integrating additional things such as an enzyme mask, microdermabrasion, and dermaplaning before the laser even began. I felt like the treatment was something I had never experienced in the past and would now always recommend getting those things before. She also showed me several products that would help enhance the process and gave me recommendations for products that would produce results. I try and stay I formed on skin treatments, but genuinely felt like I learned a lot during my treatment about the process that past experiences have not mentioned. Also the IPL machine does not contact the skin and has a cooling fan. My prior treatments had skin contact. I definitely felt like this laser was a more comfortable option.
