• NE community acupuncture's care has been a crucial part of getting my hypothyroidism symptoms stabilized. I'm on a traditional treatment plan with my endocrinologist and my levels look okay, but I was still having symptoms. Acupuncture has helped me immensely! I'm no longer losing tons of hair and I'm gaining more energy. I love the atmosphere and caring nature of everyone I've encountered here. • I struggle with community acupuncture because I’m a highly sensitive person. I have anxiety and the idea of doing healing work in a group setting makes me a little nervous. I tried community acupuncture in Brooklyn a couple years ago and never went back because the room was so packed and the practitioner barely made eye contact with me. I couldn’t relax and allow the needles to do the work. I didn’t feel safe. NE Acupuncture is a whole different story. From the check-in process until the minute I left the space, I felt safe, seen and heard. I can’t wait to go back. I think I might make it a weekly thing. Thank you for being.
