Refresh At Mosaic Hair Studio

Refresh at Mosaic is my favorite place to relax, unwind, and treat myself to an incredible massage. I always make my appointments with Corey, and he is by far the best masseuse I've ever had! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and professional, but he really takes the time to listen to where your problem areas are. For me as a photographer, I carry a lot on tension in my neck and shoulders from holding heavy camera gear and long hours at the computer editing.

Corey blows my mind everytime by how well he is able to target the source of my discomfort and pain and then really work it out... truly the definition of "hurts so good." My last session was 90 minutes and boy did I need it. I always leave feeling so refreshed, which is great because DUH... it's in the name!

This little oasis is located in Ivanhoe Village inside the cutest historical bungalow right next to Mosaic salon (where I get my hair cut). I think of it as a mini spa, and I'm usually the only client there during my selected appointment time. This makes the experience feel extra personalized which I love. Additionally, Refresh offers facials, waxing, and makeup services.

I can't wait to make my next appointment!

Funny story: I purchased a 3-pack of one-hour massages back in 2018 for my wife's birthday because she was always complaining about her neck and back pain. After blowing out my thumbs and all of my fingers trying to massage her pain away myself, I figured it was best to have a professional do it.

We had gotten a couples massage from there that we absolutely loved so I returned to get my wife the 3-pack because you save about $20 on each massage. Well... after about 3 years, she NEVER used them! So over the course of a few weekends, I used up all of the massages on myself. I happened to have Corey each time and I gotta say, that man is a magician.

He administered the right amount of pressure in my problem areas (my right should blade, my neck and my lower back) and gave me the advice I needed to prevent future issues in those areas. Each time, I left feeling limber and relaxed and pain-free in my problem areas so that's all I can really ask for!

This is not my first time having a facial with you. And I am long overdue at posting a recommendation for how talented you are.
You clearly have a passion for skin care and I love the conversations we have regarding the different techniques that are on the market in the skin treatments arena.
I also appreciate how I can just lay down on the table and you look at my skin and know what treatments to perform to offer me the best results.

As you may have read in my review for their sister business right next door, the folks here take customer service to a whole new level!

I have been to Refresh for a variety of services. Massages, make-up application and next week I am trying something new all together...dermaplaning! I'm excited to try something new and I know I'm in the most capable hands when I'm here so I'm not nervous at all!

Ok so let's talk about my most recent visit. I scheduled an one hour CBD oil massage for 5:45. I arrived and checked in at the salon next door. As always, greeted with a smile and offered a beverage. Always afraid I'll have to use the restroom during my massage, I declined. After checking out some other clients whose salon services looked lovely, I was taken next door to wait for my massage therapist (Danielle!) The clock was ticking...before I knew it it was after 6! Gigi (the manager) came over to check on me, as Danielle finished with the client ahead of me. There was a little mix up on how long the massage was supposed to be and that's why she was late getting to me. I could tell she was mortified, and so sorry for making me wait. The thing is I was just happy to be there, so really, I didn't mind. Now here is where I sing the praises of this business. Not only did Danielle apologize, but she wanted to make it up to me and offered to extend my massage to 90 mins for the time I had to wait! I think the most important thing was that this was her first thought (she of course checked to make sure someone would be next door to check me out afterward) she felt empowered to go above and beyond for me! I told her it didn't matter to me and if we couldn't, no biggie! It ended up working out and I had yet another amazing massage from Danielle! This is clearly their business model, and I mean come on, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING especially in an industry thriving on what people are willing to spend that extra disposable (for lack of a better word) income on. The fact that their results are amazing helps of course. But I used to drive to Orlando from Satellite Beach to give them my business! That's how important it is!

If you're looking to relax, get some relief, or just treat yo self! look no further. I've found that sanctuary for you!

Amelia is amazing, she does great color and cuts, she is also awesome to talk with. The salon is doing great with Covid restrictions, the old house in a peaceful setting is beautiful for a salon. All good!

Today I enjoyed a one hour massage with Corey and it was phenomenal! Corey is a skilled professional who listened to my concerns about problem areas, applied and adjusted pressure accurately and made me feel totally comfortable for my first experience working with him. This combined with the thoughtful atmosphere and friendly staff made my time at Refresh @Mosaic a real treat and I will be back again!

I am a long-time client of Mosaic Hair Studio but this was my first experience with Refresh @Mosaic. From the start, my experience was calm, peaceful and relaxing. I checked in at Mosaic where the vibe is upbeat and exciting. I was greeted with a warm welcome and escorted over to Refresh where the atmosphere is instantly calming. Upon entering I was kindly reminded to silence my cell phone because Refresh is a quiet area. Refresh is beautifully decorated in a minimalist style with the right amount of welcoming touches. It smells lovely and I was immediately at ease.

I was given an iPad and asked to fill out an electronic questionnaire. I was able to indicate my comfort regarding massage on specific areas of my body. I was also asked about my preference for pressure, music, lotion and conversation. The questionnaire covered many areas that are typically left to conversation with a massage therapist. Corey came in while I was completing the questionnaire and I was happy to discuss all of this with him before my session started.

The room itself was very inviting and luxurious. I definitely felt like I was experiencing something special and being there was a wonderful escape from the busy aspects of my life. The temperature of the room was cool and crisp and this was a nice combination with the heated massage table.

Corey expertly addressed my problem areas and I felt relief in areas I didn't realize were bothering me. My massage ended with hot towels around my feet. When I came out from the room, Corey greeted me again, asked how I was feeling and gave me water to drink on my way home. He then escorted me back to Mosaic where I checked out.

I had a great experience today and highly recommend Corey and Refresh @Mosaic for your next massage.

WOW! What an amazing experience! Had the most incredible facial at this fabulous studio. I first learned of Mosaic through a Yelp event back around Christmas-time and loved it! After quite a few months, I finally made it back to this place to use a gift-card I had been given and was absolutely blown away!

I opted for the mini- facial (lasts about 30 min), which is reasonably priced at just $45. Ashley, the esthetician that performed the facial, was seriously the nicest and sweetest lady ever! She was incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to learn about my skin and curated an amazing facial that fit my wants and needs. She used a variety of scrubs, cleansers, light treatments, and even some microdermabrasion throughout the session which made for an extremely pleasant and peaceful experience! It was also SO RELAXING!

The spa is beautiful, clean, and open with lots of white accents and great natural light. It is located in an amazing vintage house adjacent to the Mosaic Hair Studio, where they offer colors, cuts, and many other amazing services. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and really know how to create a perfect spa experience for all of their guests. I loved my facial with Ashley and seriously can't wait to come visit again soon!

Mosaic is not some "booth rate"/"not my job" type of beauty salon.
EVERY Member of Mosaic: from Owner to PT Staff: ALL work seamlessly as a TEAM. It is impressive truly appreciated, especially when I receive a tremendous amount of compliments of my hair color, refreshed facial appearance, eyebrow shaping, and a new hair spray to hold the cut and blowout in place: even in "you know what" Florida weather.

WowWowWowwwwww! Where do I even start!? This place is great! I first learned of it through a yelp event and, while I was there, purchased their holiday gift packages (one for myself and one for my mom). This consisted of an hour massage and an hour facial. We got teasers of both treatments at the Yelp event and I was hoping I'd see familiar faces for my actual appointment.

My facial was first and Michaela was incredible! We recognized each other right away since we'd met at the Event, and I was excited to have her as my aesthetician. The facial was rejuvenating, relaxing, and cleansing. Her hands were so soft and I was in heaven as she played with my face. Sounds weird, I know, unless you've gotten a facial before you won't understand. lol

My massage was next and was with Corey. Hooollly crap! He was fantastic!! He had done my chair massage at the previous event and I thought he was OK, but he blew me away on this day. His hands are like magical little nuggets sent straight from above. Like, no joke, it was probably the best massage I've ever had. Like, so good that I even said joked that I was envious of his wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/domestic partner who gets a massage from whenever they want. Lol!!!

Also, the place is clean, modern, comfortable rooms and they give you super cozy roads to wear!

I cannot wait for another spa day at Mosaic with Michaela and Corey!
