I really enjoy taking Pilates classes at this studio. It had been about 4 years since I've taken a class and the staff/instructors at this studio made the transition back super easy. Teachers are highly trained and make sure to cue you correctly and provide a variety of accommodations. The class is small which allows for the instructors to constantly walk around and check your form. Not only is the studio super clean with a lovely vibe but it's always so easy to get a spot in a class. Highly recommend.

I was hesitant about trying pilates (as a 25 year consistent yogee ) and I'm so grateful that I fell upon Mighty. The studio is warm and welcoming and not intimidating. Love Annika's and Bethany's classes. They have helped make me feel super strong managing a diastases from 2 C-sections! Try it, you'll be hooked!

Mighty Pilates is one of the best studios in Marin. They have classic reformers and towers and all the instructors understand classic pilates which allows for a safe and challenging workout. The studio is bright and welcoming and the classes feel intimate even when they are full.

I've been coming here since before Covid and now that they've expanded the inside. The studio is even better!
I've taken PILATES all over the United States and this by far is the best!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 514533Feb 25, 2023
This is your sign to go! I was initially very nervous to go given my anxiety around "group workouts", but I was pleasantly surprised to see the small class sizes. I have never been in a "fully booked" session, and during my classes, there were 5 people there max going through the 90 minute session with me.
The instructors are all equally kind and welcoming and ensure that you do your workouts effectively. They are super accommodating to what works best for your body and size (given I'm a smaller person, I was given several different recommendations from the instructor on the set-up with my shorter legs). The various instructors I worked with were Lori, Rebecca, and Meg. Each instructor has a different style, so if you got the New Client Special like me (5 classes for $99)--I'd suggest opting for a different instructor every time, rather than thinking you should stay consistent with one instructor.
They are all equally willing to help you if you're new to the workouts, tower, or reformer! I would say I personally loved Rebecca the most out of the three instructors that I worked with. However, that is a personal preference!
All in all, classes are a tad expensive even with the membership--but would say it is worth it for the uplifting community and amazing way to clear your head and move your body. I am planning to get a membership soon once I sort out some finances on my end.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessie J.San Rafael, CA10618Mar 19, 2024
I'm addressing this to men who think Pilates is not for them, perhaps wimpy because it uses springs and not weights on the Reformer machines. I'm a former college wrestler and coach and life-long athlete. I still lift weights, swim, cycle, and practice yoga. Pilates is the only exercise I have ever done that both strengthens and tones. It builds core strength and balance, and attacks muscles from angles that no amount of weight training could ever match. It's helped me tremendously in overcoming nagging injuries and staying toned and flexible. Every one of the Mighty Pilates studios is clean, inviting, and fun. The instructors are incredible and keep you moving and constantly trying new things. I'm almost always the only man in the classes - I believe if other men gave it a try the would be impressed.

Mighty Pilates is a top notch Pilates gym. All the instructors are well trained. They take care in making sure you have alternatives if you are injured. I have a herniated disk and I'm coming out of it with strength with the help of Mighty Pilates!!
