Mellow Massage & Yoga

I had a fantastic deep tissue massage this week given by #JaleelTaborn Mellow Massage Wellness Center. I have been more focused on working out at the gym and not dividing my physical wellness plan to include massage therapy as much. Jaleel really got the kinks out of my back. I felt about 10 pounds lighter in weight when I left there and of course no back pain. I highly recommend Mellow Massage and Yoga Center.

Loved it! My massage therapist was Kaneeka, who LISTENED and RECEPTIVE to my concerns and needs and suggested what she thought was best given my pain and past experiences. (Being heard and feeling my needs addressed was an issue that I had with past therapists who just do the same thing regardless of my concerns so this was very important to me.)
She was amazing! Will book my next appointment with her soon!

I have had wonderful therapists and sessions through the years at Mellow Massage and Yoga. Shauna and Masoni assisted me from the beginning call, first with confirming the appointment, to parking and entry into the studio, then booking and touring the amenities of the facility. I really appreciate their warm welcoming and going the EXTRA mile to ensure a relaxing experience.

It was a very relaxing and peaceful experience from the time I came to the time I left I was treated kindly and accommodated very well by staff. The sauna was very relaxing made me want to go sleep while meditating lol . Acupuncture was a great experience and something I would try again and recommend trying here. 10/10 experience and definitely will be coming back

I had a much-needed visit today! The only thing I was missing was a good dinner and a bed right there in that place. I've known about them for years but today was the first of hopefully many more visits. The staff is amazing. Customer service is top notch. They greet you when you come in so warmly. Also, even before my visit, the young lady who confirmed my visit was super nice and warm. It was like talking to an old friend.

They are there to assist but not in an annoying way
The massage therapists listen to your concerns

I can't really label this next section as cons, but they are things I might keep in mind for my next visit.
-Bring my earbuds for the sauna (There's a rain track that plays but it's not that soothing as it is not a smooth transition from one track to the next).
-Bring body wipes. Since the point of the sauna is to release impurities, if there is no way to rinse them off after, they are just sitting and potentially being put back into the body. Especially if you are getting a massage.

I'm telling you. I really wish they had a bed in there. I was so relaxed it would have been easy to get cozy in the bed and sleep. I will surely be back and definitely recommend it to others. I'm already planning to bring a few people next time.

Had a deep tissue massage with Brian. Feel like a new person, top 3 massages I've probably ever had. Great service from all the staff, everyone I passed greeted me and smiled, I'm very impressed.

I've been a monthly member for almost 5 years. Absolutely love mellow. The customer service is fantastic and their masseuses are incredible. My favorites are Jasmine, Shaynea and Shykela. I look forward to my monthly massage and I always leave SO relaxed. I've even brought my husband a few times for couple massages. He is not a big "massage" person, but always enjoys his therapy at Mellow. They do a great job making you feel comfortable and asking if the pressure is fit for you. Highly recommend Mellow Massage to anyone!

Incredibly welcoming, comforting, and relaxing experience. As a Black transman I often have reservations about randomly booking self care appointments such as massages, acupuncture, and haircuts. I generally call ahead or ask other trans/gnc individuals for competent and inclusive referrals. I took a chance booking the appointment for myself and another person after noticing that it's a Black owned business.

The atmosphere is chill and everyone we interacted with gave off positive energy and healing vibes. Our therapists were Alyssa and Malila. Not only did they do great work but they gave us advice or some tricks to do between sessions on our own.

I also had nothing to worry when it came to gender identity because a staff member was rocking a sticker with their pronouns. Hopefully other businesses get on board with this practice so that folks know that they are welcome in the space.

They offer a variety of services provided by experienced staff, including monthly memberships which can be shared between a couple.
