Maya Salon and Spa

Would've loved the chance to give a review based on their services, but unfortunately no one was there to help.

I walked in on a Saturday afternoon (and could hear one of those automatic door "bells" sound), looked around, waited an awkward few minutes (about three to be exact), but since no one came out to see me, I decided I'd try a different place instead (I was looking for a manicure). I even tried to look toward the back to see if anyone just didn't hear me come in, but no luck.

Two stars only because it otherwise looked like a decent place (although their nail polish selection is smaller than a nail-only salon).

I used to like this place but lately no one will ever answer the phone and their online appointment scheduling does not work anymore,so it is nearly impossible to make an appointment without going in person. This has been going on for months. Also seems like all new people there and the quality of service isn't as good as it used to be, and the staff are a little on the rude side.

I had such a great experience with Saima. She made me feel very comfortable. The salon was clean and the wax was quick. I finally got a completely clean Brazilian without multiple stray hairs or strips of hair left behind!

This is the best place for brows in Naperville. I drive 30 minutes just to go and see Saima and have been for several years. She has been perfecting the art of threading since a young girl and is a true master. My favorite is the relaxing temple massage post eye brow cleanup and shaping. This salon has so many great services!

This place may have it put together on the outside but they are a poor run and managed salon. They do not use proper sanitation procedures in the pedicure bowls and they double dip in the wax. So expect to get someone else's bacteria and fungus on you when you go. They have only 1 person on staff with a cosmetology license and the other hasn't even been to school for facials or waxing. My recommendation? Find somewhere else that values its customers safety more then profit they make off of taking in sanitary short cuts and over charging the clients for a less the professional service.

Worst service. Don't go here. They try to jack up prices while you are getting your services done. They also have TERRIBLE customer service and always say they're "under new management." Save your time and money and go to a more reliable/trustworthy salon.

I've been going to Maya Salon for over a year and although I always felt unwelcome, they've always done a pretty good job threading my eyebrows. On several occasions I stopped in without an appointment and most of the time they were able to fit me in with the same technician. However, the last couple of times I went in, my normal technician totally ignored me and I was sent to 'the new girl of the week'. When I asked why I wasn't going to my normal technician, she said 'oh you didn't ask for me.' This was really irritating but definitely not worth getting too upset about so I let it go. Last Thursday I stopped in to get my eyebrows done and a new receptionist walked up to me and said, "we're busy today, come back on Sunday." It was obvious to me that English was not her first language, but that statement was the final straw. I was highly offended and irritated that she addressed me so rudely. I started to say something but I decided to leave. I will never set foot in that place again.

Maya Salon and Spa is the only place I trust with my eyebrows and I've been going there for the past three years. Sunita always takes her time and makes sure they look perfect and remembers exactly how I like them. Once or twice I've gone out of town and had to go somewhere else and I always end up kicking myself because other salons screw it up, so now I'd rather go with my eyebrows looking unkempt than take a risk going elsewhere. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

It's very bad and expensive.We say one,they do other way. I had haircut which was bad,unprofessional and reckless. They made my long hair to very short which is disappointing . It's much better to see professional salon rather than getting sad.

I got my eyebrows done by Sunita today. Despite us being ridiculously late she still took us with a smile and was very sweet. She did a fantastic job with my eyebrows. Very happy with the service.
