• The quality of service and product from the moment you walk into Malia Hair Studio, to the moment before you step out, is consistently high. Over the years, I have left reviews for Jessica V (aka Jessica K) because her level of talent seems to grow by the day. She is brilliant at deciphering what her client wants and what will work along those lines. Her cutting and coloring is second to none and I adore her personality. I don't think I have mentioned the rest of the staff before. The manager and women who work the reception area are on-point every single time I am there. Everyone is friendly and striving to make your time there comfortable and efficient. There are times when they are juggling multiple issues/customers, etc at once and they never show an ounce of frustration or lack of confidence. The women who work as assistants should also be mentioned as they are behind the scenes, monitoring timers, moods, offering beverages, checking for comfort and often delivering the most amazing scalp massages at the sink. I wish I had memorized the name of the young woman who was assisting Jessica during my appointment on Thursday. She was attentive and friendly and delivered a scalp massage that people would pay to come in for. Coming from an HR background, I naturally analyze employee behavior and camaraderie... Mania must be managed very well and the employees must be treated well (I know they provide on-going education and certification for their stylists - always staying current and always evolving) because that is what is reflected in the customer experience that is delive
