LunchboxWax - West Hollywood

Prices have gone up since my last review, i.e. now $63 for a Brazilian, but after going to other places during the course of the past few years, I find myself realizing this spot is top-notch compared to other. Bright, clean, sterile practices, warm environment. The gals here know what they're doing. And parking is a cinch as they share a lot with Trader Joe's.

My recent visit was with Jeanne who I found out is a long-term veteran, always a good sign if they decide to stay at a place for so many years. I was immediately into her 'style.' There's the usual small talk but it felt genuine, not awkward, and she is all-business, but not in a cold way...more just in terms of getting the job done, offering after-care advice (i.e. who'd have thought Trader Joe's upstairs has a great salt scrub for ingrown treatment?), and encouraging me to come in regularly, without being pushy. She was absolutely right - even if you're not partnered up, this is some of the best self-care you can do, because you just feel...great.

Also worth mentioning - I'm used to the esthetician going back in with a tweezer and grabbing tiny hairs (ouch but necessary for a thorough job). I was a little bummed Jeanne didn't...until I got home and realized what an excellent job she did, which evidently didn't even require that!

Lunchbox will be changing to "Waxology" but with the same staff and practices, just additional services and new look-and-feel. Can't wait to check out the new setup next month.

Nancy did a great job with my wax! The place is clean, the staff are friendly and professional and the parking is validated which is great!
If you're looking for a well done, quick and precise wax job - definitely give this place a try.

I had my first body wax service done by Kristina today she was awesome! she explained every step of the process to me and made me feel welcomed. I will definitely be coming back. Make sense to come to the wax salon for body waxing.

The salon is very chic and clean all around. The staff was friendly. Opted in to try their product, no pushy sales at all. Will update with my review of the product.

Jeanne is incredibly skilled and super-friendly!! So relieved to find a clean, safe, nearly painless (bc Jeanne's skills are 10/10!!) wax salon in WeHo. I went here for my post-pandemic wax and just had my second wax (both with Jeanne) and I couldn't be happier!!

Has become my waxing home! Love the gals in the shop. Always feel comfortable, happy to catch up, all the while getting cleaned up! It's clean, professional, and I've never left unhappy. From the brows to the unmentionables... I would definitely recommend Lunchbox WeHo!

A wonderful, friendly, sanitary and relaxing place to get any kind of wax treatment. All staff is extremely knowledgeable and make a Brazilian wax virtually pain free and fast!

The best waxing experience I've had in LA. There was is in house made & it makes a huge difference. I didn't experience the typical pain that I normally get from a bikini wax. The staff was incredible as well, very nice & funny.

I was fortunate enough to get the bogo deal so I'll definitely be back to do a Brazilian which I'm actually excited about.

Yuk been coming here several times and it was fine. Now all of a sudden another lady i booked with. Because she was only available. I was 10 minutes late. I come there there is no one standing at front desk. Im waiting 10 min and she comes walking in. I can't help you anymore your late. We don't accept anyone after 15 min while i was there 10 min late waiting for her. So unprofessional! I can't believe the way she acted towards me. She is rude. The other ladies are sweet and kind. Michelle was just rude. Time to find a new salon!! I just had a baby and got a sitter for this. What a waist.
