Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that promotes smoother, firmer, and younger-looking skin by creating tiny microchannels in the skin's surface. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production, addressing concerns like fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone.
How Should I Prepare for My Session?

Avoid certain products: Refrain from using retinol, glycolic acid, or other active skincare ingredients at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Skip exfoliation: Do not exfoliate your skin for a few days prior to treatment.
Stay sun-safe: Protect your skin from sun exposure, and avoid tanning or prolonged sun exposure for at least a week before the session.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water and moisturize your skin to keep it hydrated.

Do I Need to Arrive Early?

Yes, we ask that clients arrive 30 minutes prior to their session for the application of a numbing cream. This ensures maximum comfort during the treatment.

Is There Any Downtime After the Treatment?

Microneedling typically involves little to no downtime. However, you may experience some redness, mild swelling, or sensitivity for 1–3 days. This is normal and should subside quickly.

What Should I Avoid Post-Treatment?

No makeup: Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
Skip active ingredients: Refrain from using retinol, vitamin C, or exfoliants for at least 48 hours.
Avoid sun exposure: Protect your skin with a high-SPF sunscreen and avoid direct sunlight.
Stay gentle: Use a gentle cleanser and avoid harsh scrubbing or exfoliating for a few days.

How Often Should I Get Microneedling?

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3–6 sessions spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. Your esthetician will guide you based on your skin’s unique needs.

Who Should Avoid Microneedling?

Microneedling is not recommended for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active acne or infections, or certain skin conditions such as rosacea or eczema. Please consult with your esthetician if you have any concerns.
